Thank you for checking out my 4th crowdfunding project!! 

For my fourth set of pins, I wanted to be extremely playful and fun – so I really pushed myself to make each design as unique and quirky as possible!

“Sorry Not Sorry” is all about celebrating the endless ways our feline friends both entertain and drive us wild. Any cat owner will tell you: those mischievous little habits are just as frustrating as they are hilarious. But at the end of the day, they’re part of what makes living with our furry companions so unforgettable.

I poured a lot of thought into every pin’s design, trying to weave a little story into each one. The goal was to make each piece feel like a snapshot of life with a cat – unpredictable, cheeky, and full of charm. I hope you enjoy this series as much as I enjoyed creating it!

For This Project, I decided to create more fleshed-out illustrations of each pin!
Just like the series, I wanted these pieces to evoke a sense of humor. Utilizing the thickness of the panel to create an extension of the scene beyond the edges. I had a lot of fun and laughed a lot creating these illustrations! and I hope that through this campaign, that they all find their forever homes!

We start with " Sorry not sorry, about your Breakfast". The first concept that started this entire series.
The bowl was laser cut and is attached to the painting magnetically as well as with a chain so that you, the viewer, can do the deed itself and knock over that cereal bowl. 

On the edge, we see the owner running to try and stop the inevitable.
But we all know that it's pointless. and this gremlin feels no guilt
 

Our Second piece features a very happy gremlin who has settled nicely into a once healthy and striving plant. the leaves are smushed down by his butt and the flower wilt onto the table.

 

At the bottom of the panel, leaves dangle to illustrate all the plants that have suffered the wrath of this chunky gremlin. And on the edge, we have our victim, watching in horror as another one of their prized plants is destroyed.

Our Third piece features a pathetic scene where we have a sick human on the toilet. They are not well, perhaps due to unwise life choices, but that doesn't seem to bother her furry gremlin companion. 
He stands on top of her, enjoying the view. 

While on the edge, his friend yells relentlessly to be fed.
Tragic.

Our last piece features a sleepy angel who can do no wrong because he is sleeping. 
when he arises, that will be a different story, but for now, we can all enjoy how sweet and innocent he looks. claws tucked away, purring atop a mountain of squishy things.

My name is Malisa and I'm the silly bean behind Sorry Not Sorry!

Born and raised on the tiny island of Singapore, I landed in California after 3 years of art school in Rhode Island. I have been a full-time artist for 4 years now! But before that, I was a high school art teacher and created/ sold art on the side! I am now fully in my element, Making things that make me happy and that help me find my place in the world.

Interestingly enough, my work has 2 faces. I have a very silly/cute style for my little characters and a richer, more realistic style for my illustrations and paintings. These 2 facets of my work are a direct reflection of who I am as a person!
