So after months, and a few requests to confirm if my gold plate was actually mailed to me, I have had zero response. I am extremely disappointed with this, especially seeing others have received it. I pushed for these gold plates and mine is just never sent or "lost" in the mail? Can I please get some sort of information or update, because this has soured any faith I had in future backings.

Maybe I missed an update, but the first 500 backers were told specifically that they would receive gold plates. These were missed at the warehouse. We were told magnetic press was going to figure it out. It's been quite awhile now and I haven't seen any update. I know some will troll this, but after the huge post about the gold plates, I expected this to be corrected. Can we get an update on whether I should expect this to be fulfilled, or if it was a broken promise?

I posted a comment a few weeks ago about damaged books. Didn't receive a reply back, but someone else with the same issue did. So there's going to be a reprint, and can we expect to receive a replacement?

I spoke with backerkit and they won’t take any responsibility. They know we got scammed but they said it’s their policy. Magnetic press won’t take any responsibility either, they just offered me a coupon. I’m not sure what else to do other than avoid these companies in the future and warn others as much as we can

From the number of comments here it seems damages are quite high, no surprise considering the very poor packing job that seems to have been done. I have a damaged book and slipcase, and like some others here have received a response saying there are not enough copies left to replace. This is simply unacceptable for an item at this price. Not to mention that we paid a premium to ship the books as well. I’m sorry but a $15-20 refund is not going to cut it.

After some hazzle with FedEx, I finally got my package. Sadly, the books are both damaged.

Hello. Late response as I was busy with the holidays and new year. I received my package, however there is a large dent in the protective box on the book. I haven't opened it yet, but I already know the book inside is dented as well. I can send images. What can be done about this?

Was stoked to finally get my parcel but both my books are damaged and I’m gutted. Anyone else had this issue? Don’t think I can upload a photo here but they were packaged well so looks like they were damaged before being packaged up. Both hardcovers are dented on the edges. Defo not ideal for the money I paid!

Hey everyone, specifically to the first 500 Slipcase Backers -- We have you covered. In hindsight, we should have worked this out before opening a can of worms here in the open forum. It was an easy enough solution, and considering the coins are still a few weeks away from being delivered, there was time to get a gold bookplate made for those first 500 Slipcase pledges. Our sincere apologies for causing any disappointment for (hopefully) no reason. 😊 While all 1000 slipcases will include the numbered red-foil bookplate already shown shrink-wrapped in with each copy, the first 500 pledge packages will include a separate/second 4x4" bookplate added (loose) to each. Easy fix! So this beauty has been ordered and should be here around the same time as the coin:

My Deluxe set arrived while I was away on vacation so sat in the post office over a week. I picked them up today and was surprised to see how large they are. Didnt expect that. They also look so good wrapped up in the shrink wrap that I'm not sure that I want to open them. Is there any increase in value in the future if I wouldnt open them? This is my first from MP so dont know if their products have a secondary market.

Finally got my books minutes ago. The books themselves look great, absolutely great. A small ding on two corners of the sleeve, but nothing major. Unfortunately, Luke so many others I received not only the wrong backer number, but no gold plate. I was originally told I was backer 32, I received 213, but still no gold. I know we pledged for the books, well before the add ons, but once promised (especially the case of the gold) this should have been followed through properly. I have a bitter taste in my mouth about the campaign now, even if the books were as promised.
