Project Update: Shipping Update 2
Hi all!
It's been a while since the last update, so here's the freshest news for where things are at!
This campaign has been an unprecendented success for me, and I'm beyond thrilled and grateful that everyone has loved these pins so much. However, as I am a single-person operation, that has also proven to be a bit of a challenge. As it turns out, quality controlling over a thousand pins and packing almost 300 orders is a lot slower than I had anticipated, especially since this volume of pins doesn't really fit in my usual staging area. To make things even more... interesting, shall we say? is that my air conditioning broke down during the worst of the Southern California heat wave. Needless to say, 90+ degree indoor temperatures have not made the process any faster.
But this isn't just an oops update! I'm happy to say that all pins have now been quality checked and set up for shipping, and the first wave of packages has gone out. The second, and hopefully last, wave will go out by the end of the first week of September, so a little behind schedule. I'll send another update then in case there's going to be a third wave of shipping.
Since I am a single-artist operation, each and every pin you receive is graded and hand-packed by me. It means that you're getting a package full of care and pride, but also that there may be some errors along the way. If you have an issue with your shipment, such as wrong or missing items, damage during shipping, and so on, please let me know via email at [email protected]. If you can contact me as soon as you notice the issue, that would be ideal. That said, I will be sending out all corrections at the same time a few weeks after the final shipments have gone out. This is just so I can manage the item flow and make sure everyone gets the things they ordered. I appreciate your patience on this!
If you ever have any questions or concerns, you can get in touch with me through comments on the campaign page, the email above, or via Twitter/X, which I check regularly.
As always, thank you all for your support! I hope to get everyone's pins in their new homes as soon as possible.
