With four days left in the campaign, we have successfully unlocked SEVEN individual designs! If I can be a bit candid for a moment, I'd like to say that I am so blown away by the support for this project. This was my first ever Backerkit campaign, and the largest project I've done to date! I've definitely learned a thing or two along the way, and have hit a few bumps along the way, and I'm eager to utilize that new knowledge in future projects. But as of right now? I am so blown away and overjoyed with the amount of support I have received. We have raised over $50k for these little fellows. That's nuts! Thank you all SO much!

And now... remember how I said this was my first campaign?

I'll be the first to admit that I've fumbled a few times during this campaign. I decided to go with a different manufacturer than previously planned after having a really successful run with another plushie campaign that recently concluded. Unfortunately, I failed to account for multiple factors such as the holidays scattered throughout this month, which delayed communication and shipping times quite a bit. I had to ship Grimsley's original prototype to my partner factory, and even though I had paid for express shipping (2-3 days,) customs just now released Grimsley. I guess the customs agents wanted to give him a good cuddle before letting him go on his way!

But I digress! Grimsley is now safely with my partner factory, and when he returns to me, he'll be accompanied by six new friends! I have received the news that they're working on getting the new samples completed ASAP. I intend to have the sample images available before surveys go out so everyone can make a more informed decision about which friends they're taking home!
