My name is Lily, creator of these wonderful little weighted plushies known as Pocket Pals! And Pride Pals is excited to share over 9+ plushies that PROUDLY represent LGBTQ+ identities!
What exactly are we aiming to do with this mini series?
Give comfort and happiness!
Celebrate those who identify with different identities who are part of or support the LGBTQ+
Bring to light unique, one of a kind pals to show off your own pride in who you are!
Grow a community that accepts and embraces everyone! And spreads that love and acceptance to others!
If you have backed previous campaigns of pocket pals, then you’re already very familiar with the story of how it came to be, as well as the members of the artist team who help me bring it to life! But, I’ve still included it for anyone interested in learning more about pocket pals! It’s further down in the story section!
Now, I know everyone is curious about what designs this series is bringing to life! Here they are!!
Now, while we have these wonderful amazing designs, I need your help to bring them to life! Each time we hit a mile stone there will be a vote in the community tab to see which flag gets unlocked next, with the hope of unlocking every flag! And also unlocking an extra special stretch goal shared below!! The oversized fluffy weighted rainbow spino! This guy is honestly one of my favorite things I’ve brought to life! At 3ft long and 2 pounds he is the perfect snuggle buddy!!
But..
This will be our first goal! The pride spino, Pal Keyhains and a keychain for early bird backers is included as well!
Each pal is made from super soft, squishy and stretchy mochi minky! With embroidery markings and designs to keep it as soft as possible without printing! Though, some more complex designs are printed but still just as soft and high quality!!
Along with that, each plush is roughly 10-12 inches long! And filled with weighted pellets to give them that comforting feel and extra squishy squish everyone always loves!!
There is also a large list of stickers and keychains you can grab as well!
An exclusive white rainbow ankylosaurus will also be available for the FIRST 48 HOURS ONLY!
The reason for its inclusion is because several previous backers, who are members of the different community groups, have been asking for this one! Since it was not unlocked during the Dino campaign! So…he’s an exclusive early ADD-ON ONLY option!
Want a flag or creature that you don’t see in our lineup? No fear! Pride pals is offering the chance to get a fully customized pal of your own! Just back the ‘Custom Pride Pal’ pledge level, and you’ll be able to bring to life your own pal!
There are some things to note with this however! You have to chose from any of the previously created pocket pals, not a new creature that hasn’t been made yet!
You’ll be able to have me design it, with feedback from you! Or, I can email the lineart file and let you design it yourself! There are limits when it comes to complexity of design though, with designs like the lesbian Jersey Devil and Gay Triceratops being the more complex side of things.
It can take up to 8 months for a custom to be created! Please be aware of this if you choose to back that pledge level! But we have over 40 different critters to choose from, which are listed below!!
