Navigation is an oracle deck and guidebook that marries physical places to mental, emotional and spiritual experiences. Navigate the path through a monochromatic collection of illustrations.
The process or activity of ascertaining one's position and planning and following a route. Each place has a story, and we as individuals have our own stories in relation to them. With this oracle deck, you’ll be able to travel to new destinations and revisit known grounds, the key is to navigate emotions and experiences with the same curiosity and excitement as you’d do while visiting places.
Navigation is a 49 cards oracle deck designed with the intention of associating emotional, spiritual and social experiences to physical spaces. Each card is digitally illustrated to capture a certain vibe, feeling and situation. With an Art Nouveau frame and a depiction of landscapes flirting with realism, the artwork is in a monochrome style, classic to L’hermite’s work. Using only tints and shades of the same colour force the viewer to focus on the story told by the image, without having any distractions from colours and their symbolisms. The restricted colour scheme leave more place to the importance of contrasts, compositions and visual elements.
• Each card has gold foiled edges. • Cards are printed on 350GSM card stock. • The deck comes with the guidebook, helping you navigate the imagery. • Cards are about 3’’x4’’, the guidebook is the same size and fits in a two part cardboard box. • The back of the cards will be voted by backers ! • The design of the box will also be voted by backers!

Alex AKA L’hermite is a visual artist, designer and Tarot enthusiast. After putting together and self-publishing a Tarot deck: Le Tarot Vert in 2023, the idea of a complimentary Oracle sparked. L’hermite as a brand has for mission to explore the creative’s inner journey and to share it with the world.
Conception: Although artworks are completed for all cards, the back and the box design is up to backers. Votes will be compiled and announced after the campaign. The writing of The Navigator’s map is close to the end and will require a little fine-tuning and spell checking.
Production: Once the campaign is over and successful(hopefully), the funds will move towards me after 2 weeks. Then the order will be put in with my manufacturer and we can expect about 2 months and a half for production and delivery to me.
Fulfillment: L’hermite is a one-man operated show, I’ll pack all rewards and will try my best to ship them as fast as possible, the final scale of the project will influence the duration of that step. Shipping time will depend on destinations of backers. Shipping is included in all pledge levels!
Timeline: • February 14th campaign’s ending • February 28th placing the order • End of April/ Early May decks arrive to me • Mid-End of May decks are leaving for their new homes * Delays can occur*
Crowdfunding : Crowdfunding allows creatives to move forward with their ideas. With the help of a community engaging, sharing and pledging to the project, their presence is greatly appreciated and necessary to the success of an adventure like Navigation. Crowdfunding is the opportunity for supporters of creative endeavours to help artists bring projects to life that otherwise would not exist. Most times money is the issue and production requires minimums, treating the process like a risk free preorder is what’s the most appealing for you and for creators.
All or Nothing: One of the main perks of using platforms like these is the all-or-nothing format; the funding must be reached for the project to actually move forward and for funds to be debited from backers cards. No payment is made before the confirmation that the campaign is successful. Pledge now, pay later and only if the goal is reached by the end on February 10th. If the goal is sadly not reached by the end, no one will be charged and the project will not go through.
Don’t snooze: The success of crowdfunded campaigns is time sensitive. Don’t wait to pledge, funds don’t have to be available at the moment you pledge, they will only be debited after the campaign’s success. If the payment doesn’t go through after the campaign you’ll have a maximum of 14 days to fix your infos. More interestingly, the backers benefit from a discounted price for the decks, that is a perk you get for helping me out. The campaign is lasting 20 days only, let’s make them count!
