Hey there, everyone! Spike again. And wow. Have we got a lot to talk about, huh?

Once again, because I cannot say it enough, and never will be able to say it enough: THANK YOU for your INCREDIBLE support.

You have, with your faith in us, and with your backer pledges, sent Lackadaisy to unbelievable heights.  We will never be able to sufficiently thank you for everything you’ve done for us. But we’re going to try, by making the absolute best animated series we can to reward your belief in this project. And part of that is going to be us doing our level best to keep you in the loop and informed about how things are going! Let’s start with some end–of–campaign clean–up.

Your credit/debit cards should have already been charged for your pledge amounts. Please, make sure those charges went through! If they did not, you should have received an email from Backerkit about it saying so; you will have two weeks to attempt to recharge your card, or use a different one. If your pledge still has not come through in the following two weeks, your pledge will be forfeited! The window to resubmit a card number and update a rejected payment method closes, I am told by BackerKit, on September 7th. Please make sure that does not happen, we want to make sure you get your rewards.

After all the pledges go through, we should have the money drop into the Iron Circus account in another one to two weeks. Then, the REAL work begins! Like I said, you’ll hear all about it in the coming months and years. It’s the least we owe you! Backerkit updates will go out every one to two months, and you can expect frequent livestreams on the Lackadaisy YouTube channel. If you haven’t already subscribed, please do! As for Backerkit surveys, we will delay sending those out for at least a month. The earliest you can expect them is the end of September, but they will more likely arrive in October. This is to cut down on customer service tickets, which tend to accrue if we send the surveys out too early. As stated on the crowdfund page, we plan on fulfilling the project (AKA, putting stuff in the mail) sometime early next year; specifically, April 2024. This is because we have SO MANY production cycles to spin up, from books to pins to plushes! These things will take time to make, take time to ship, and take time to get out to you. Please be patient while we get it all done!

For folks who have been asking, you WILL have an opportunity to add new items to your final pledge during the survey portion of the fulfillment. If you had the money for, say, a Tip for the Bartender, but truly want a Freckle plush and keychain? That will be possible! But you will have to wait until fulfillment. We MAY also have these goods available for purchase AFTER the crowdfund fulfillment, but we cannot promise it will be in large quantities, or for the price offered during the crowdfund! Not to fear, you will have another chance!

And YES, we DID hit the Blu-ray backer goal in the end, with MINUTES to spare. (If you want to see the livestream of the final countdown, you can watch it here!) However, the Blu-ray will not be available until Season One is complete! It will not be on the crowdfund fulfillment survey, because it will not ship until after we've completed Season One. Bundling it with this crowdfund's fulfillment would delay shipping of your rewards by a YEAR at least, and I'm sure nobody wants that. When we have more info about how and when those Blu-rays will be available, and how much they'll cost, we'll let you know!

And, of course, the second half of that final stretch goal was the PLUSH poll. We haven’t forgotten, don’t worry!
