I wanted to share some info about how the samples for the plush are coming along, but first a few notes:
I understand there was some confusion about which sticker design was which in the add-on section on the survey. I have updated the images to include titles for the characters there are multiple stickers for. I do wish backerkit would sync the image to the SKU, I forgot that they do not do this for the add-on section. I apologize for the delay on this, but please do not worry, I will not be locking surveys for a good while since we are still waiting for plush samples to be finalized, so you have plenty of time to adjust your survey.
I have been behind on replying to community posts and comments as I have developed some pretty severe anxiety due to some of the replies being worded harshly. I understand frustration with the delays but in my case when I encounter something worded this way it causes me to shut down or panic, and I am not in a position to be able to reply. If you are commenting a question or concern, using tone indicators can help me realize that you are not upset with me :) I am hoping to be able to hire an assistant soon that can help me with some of the customer service aspect of my job, but that is a whole other process.
Next some info about the samples! The prototypes for all the plush except for Em were shipped to me and I have some concerns with a few of them but a few of them are good to go! I made a video of me going over each sample if you'd like to see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfWlXoTlp2Y
To state a few things I go over in the video, there are wires in some of the wings and tails (specifically in melon, sandy, and cy) but this is something I would really like to avoid so I have asked my manufacturer to remove them. This does mean that in the final samples the wings on those plush might not stand up as tall as they do in the sample pictures, but I feel this is worth it to make sure the plush is cuddly. If we are unable to remove the wire I will let everyone know but I am pretty adamant about removing it.
The other main note is that the wings on Cy and Sandy were supposed to be magnetic, but are sewn in. I am asking to have this changed as well, but again will update if my manufacturer deems this un-doable.
As far as progress on Em, my manufacturer seems confused about where to add the gray, so it is still missing on the muzzle and horns. I will continue to try and communicate this to them until we get it correct :)
