Project Update: November Update
We’ve had another productive month working on The Caverns of Thracia, so here is a recap of all our progress.
We are getting close on finalizing the file approvals with the printer. Getting all these details just right is an important step in the process! Once we pass that milestone, we hope to start the proofing process in the next couple of weeks. In short, this project is moving along quite nicely!
One of the Stretch Goals for this project was combining all of the player handouts into a handy reference book, for ease of use at the game table. Here are a few sample 2-page spreads to see what you are getting:
In our last update, we discussed the status of DCC #111 Grave Robbers of Thracia and FEF #29 The Alabaster Tower of Thracia, two additional full-length adventures to add to your Thracia campaign. Well, both manuscripts are through editing, a 2nd round of development, and off to the layout team. In addition, feast your eyes on the cover art to DCC #111!

Is their a way I can change from the dcc to the 5e version at this point? Or am I locked in.

Not sure of another way to reach out to Goodman Games, but I wanted you to be aware of an issue with the PDF of Vol. 1 of Dark Tower (for both the DCC and 5E versions), at least the versions that have been uploaded to DriveThruRPG. When you get to the section that's the reprint of the original module, the scan is zoomed in a bit too much, the top and bottom of the pages have been chopped off. Picture showing what I mean: https://imgur.com/a/pNs8qJC While technically all the information is there, it makes the tiny bit of OCD within me hurt whenever I look at it.

Project Update: October Update
I hope this update finds you doing well, and embracing the spooky season.
During our last update we shared that the books were off to the printer. The past few weeks have involved the typical back and forth to get the covers and the interiors perfect. This is ongoing, but we are almost there!
If you recall, there were two more books unlocked at the end of the campaign: FEF #29 The Alabaster Tower of Thracia (penned by Scott Moore) and DCC#111 Grave Robbers of Thracia (penned by Bob Brinkman). We are pleased to report that both drafts have been submitted, are through development and off to the respective editors. In addition, cover and interior art is underway for both of these books.
Who wants to see some end sheet art?
The first is from Doug Kovacs:
And now feast your eyes on an iconic piece by Peter Mullen!

Hey DCC folks! The new DCC funnel adventure that you will be wanting to run for your players, Grave Robbers of Thracia, has gone through its development pass and its final play tests will be this weekend during a FREE online event. That's right, FREE. I am running four playtest sessions of the adventure during TTRPG Pickup Con on September 28th and 29th, two on Saturday and two on Sunday. TTRPG Pickup Con is a free, monthly, online gaming convention run by an enthusiastic gamer, and is a small but worthwhile event. Each month there are new games to play, new systems to try, and new experiences to be had. So head on over and grab yourself a seat at the table! https://warhorn.net/events/ttrpg-pickup-con
