You can collect up to 10 different keychains and 175 animals throughout this campaign. Every keychain introduces you to a new biome, featuring different animals and conservation challenges.
The keychains are openable, allowing you to mix and match your animal charms across the different booster packs. Every keychain design has two basic booster packs, covering different continents, regions, or niches within their ecosystem. When you order a keychain, it comes with any 4 charms from their two base Booster Packs included, no duplicates, giving you a headstart on your collection.
You can purchase additional booster packs to collect more critters, including holographic legendary animals. Every booster pack contains 4 out of 7 random charms with no duplicates. Every animal has a different rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary. How it works!
During the campaign, count how many booster packs of each type you want and add as many add-ons. Use the pledgemanager after the campaign to specify the designs. Every booster pack contains 4 charms with no duplicates. How likely it is that you receive a specific animal depends on its rarity. If you enjoy maths, take a look at the probabilities below.
The tl;dr is: You have pretty good chances to get the animals you want! If you buy 4 booster packs you have a 55% chance to get even the rarest, legendary animal.
You can pledge for additional add-ons when you pledge to a reward level or by clicking on “manage your pledge”. You can then reselect or change your pledge level and be brought back to the list of unlocked add-ons.

Every Stamp Washi Tape features 10 unique illustrations of iconic European or North American animals, many of which can also be found in the shaker keychains. Simply add the amount of stamp washi you like to your add-ons and choose the designs later in the pledgemanager!

Shipping costs will be calculated individually, based on weight and location, AFTER the campaign is over. Estimated shipping costs are listed below. All shipments are tracked. If your order includes posters your pledge may be sent in two tracked shipments to protect them. Your rewards can only be shipped, if you complete the pledgemanager survey by the indicated date and pay the shipping costs. If you do not complete the survey and I can’t ship your rewards, you will not be eligible for a refund.
International (non-EU) backers: Please keep in mind that you may need to pay customs/VAT fees. By backing you understand that you may habe to pay VAT upon delivery. If your package is returned as undeliverable, due to insufficient address or unpaid VAT, I will reach out via email. You can choose to provide a reliable address, but will be required to pay for shipping again. Shipping costs are not refunded when packages return (in fact, I have to pay a fee).
Hi! I am Viktoria, the artist, illustrator and creator behind Fox & Crow Studio and the biome keychains! Drawing cute little animals is my biggest passion and sharing my vast amount of fun facts about them a close runner-up. I have been creating stationary, stickers and accessories since 2020, always with the intention to spark curiosity and inspiration in others. You may also now me from my last project over on Kickstarter, the Darwin Notebook.
The funding goal includes production costs, packaging, and platform fees, as well as tax. Not included are shipping costs, which will be calculated individually, and customs fees, if applicable (for non-EU customers).
Risks & Challenges
I have designed many different keychains before and have worked with the manufacturer before on a variety of projects. I will also make samples of all keychains to check colour, size and functionality and all products are quality checked before fulfilment. This ensures smooth production and fulfilment.
All add-ons are produced with trusted manufacturers as well, if possible in Germany or the EU. This is my second crowdfunded project and I am confident that it will go just as well, or better, than my first project.
Delays in production and shipping are always possible. I have generously calculated the time and am confident that I can meet my fulfilment goals in January.
Throughout the process, both during and after the campaign, I will provide regular updates on design, production and fulfilment and will be available for questions and concerns.
