Welcome to my new book project, WANTED - Cosmic Outlaws, Space Pirates & Intergalactic Scallywags!
Some of you will be long time followers (hello!), but others might be new to me and my work. What brings you here and what made you back the project?

OH MY GOODNESS!! You guys you have made this book a reality! This is so amazing thank you!! I woke up this morning and it was ONE POUND away from funding. Went for my morning walk and on my return, there it was! FUNDED!!

I also to make a wee introduction post to draw attention to all the things possible for us on this new platform!
I can see many familiar names in the backers which is AMAZING. Thank you ALL so so much for supporting me, every single one of you, new backers and returning backers.
This book feels a bit like doing a campaign for the first time because it's a bit of a different theme to my usual AND is on this unknown platform. Rather nerve wracking! Definitely a bit slower than it usually is on KS (but of course there's no way to know how fast it would have gone on KS without doing both at once!).
Here on Backerkit on the main page for this project, you'll see some little options at the top of the story:
And if you click on 'community' you'll find my polls and also there are a couple of discussions on there. If any of you fancy adding to these then that would be amazing. I realise time is precious, but it really helps get my project visible on the landing page of Backerkit if it's very lively in here with interaction!

And a few of you have already found the poll for which prints you'd like added to the add-ons section! It's always interesting to see which pictures get the most interest, it doesn't always correlate to my own favourites.
ALSO there is an achievement attached to this update which means when you share from the link on there to facebook it will log it and help boost the backer train!
Anyhoo, I wanted to say thank you to all of you who have braved this new platform and come to support me here, it really means the world to me. The main reason for me trying Backerkit after so many years using Kickstarter is because Backerkit are taking a stance against generative Ai, where Kickstarter is not. I feel this is important right now and I want to support companies who support those of us who still make hand made things.
I will be making updates when we reach various goals - obviously when we've (hopefully) funded and also when I release stretch goal options. I will also be doing a live stream and will release a poll for the best time for that too.

The Thing (1982). Possibly a perfect film, and covers not just Sci-Fi but horror and suspense too. Pretty amazing! And that score too, incredible!
Flash Gordon (1980). Still a totally unique stand alone world in movie form. I saw this very young (I was terrified of the wood beast!) and just fell in love with it. SO colourful, so over the top and again... you can't really beat a score by Queen! This also happens to be Matt's favourite film.
The Fifth Element (1997). Very colourful, incredible costumes, creature designs and sets. It does suffer somewhat from the 'born sexy yesterday' trope, but I can give it a pass, it's still entertaining.
District 9 (2009). Least favourite of these but such a clever movie and so well done.
Dune & Dune Part 2 (2021+). I need to stop adding movies now (!), but had to mention these. I know they've split opinion, but I loved the size of them and the design, the score, everything. I think I preferred part 1.
