Early interior concept by Sam Lofti.

Bloody Hollow is a 28mm solo/cooperative miniatures game inspired by Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. You will create a band of colonial mercenaries and investigators who have been called upon to help save the now-haunted Hudson Valley.  Sculpt, bash, or print unique miniatures that wade into the evil mayhem of Bloody Hollow to try to investigate and return the Headless Horseman to the grave before he covers the valley in darkness forever.
Bloody Hollow is a tabletop miniatures game played on a 3' x 3' table. Like a TTRPG everyone brings character sheets but they also need to bring miniatures. In this game 1-5 players play against the game. You can use whatever miniatures you'd like.

An investigator and scholar work together to fight off the evil forces flooding the Hudson Valley.

Each player will control a single character in either solo or cooperative play, as they seek to uncover the mystery surrounding a murderous apparition - known as “The Headless Horseman” - who haunts the region. Players will attempt to unravel the mystery of the dreaded ghostly rider before he collects the heads of the terrified villagers and coats the area in darkness forever.

The gameplay is focused on a narrative campaign where characters fight to clear the land of monsters and learn clues to discover how to ultimately confront and defeat the Headless Horseman. As you play through missions, useful villagers may end up in harm's way. If they perish your access to vital information and goods decreases and the town becomes closer to destruction. But if your missions are successful, you'll bring prosperity and peace... if you don't lose your head.

A dreaded Weerwolfe (Werewolf in English) stalks the treeline near Raven's Rock in the Hudson Valley.

Our miniatures are highly detailed, quality STL files designed for resin printers. We also offer prints of these models by vetted 3D printing professionals (see sample below) if you don't have a resin 3D printer. Pledges with "All Unlocked STLs" include any unlocked stretch goals at no additional cost. Printed versions of the miniatures unlocked in stretch goals will be added to the add-ons for purchase.

Alex C. Van Allen, Game Designer

Alex creates engaging miniature rules that absorb your imagination and catch you yelling joyfully at the game table. The creator of our miniatures game, Bloody Hollow, is a direct descendant of one of the families tied to the inspiration behind Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. You can find Alex tinkering with one of his many miniature games or hosting an entertaining game on his YouTube channels, Tabletop Wizards or Legends of the Tabletop.

Notable Work: Dead by Lead (Blaster, Electi), Nightfall (Exalted Funeral), Tabletop Wizards, Legends of the Tabletop

Sam Lotfi, Illustrator

Sam is an incredible artist with a talent for expressing horror with character and charm, and we’re fortunate that he’s also secretly a miniature wargamer. Sam and Alex met at the Mordheim Open in Texas in 2022 and have collaborated on Dead by Lead. They have dreamed of bringing this project to you since. If you haven't yet, you should check out Sam's website and see more of his work, or better yet, support him by purchasing an original!

Notable Work: Mosley (BOOM!Studios), Young Alfred: Pain in the Butler (DC) Last Stop on the Red Line (Dark Horse), Ash vs. the Army of Darkness (Dynamite, and TMNT (IDW), along with many more.

Jordan Cuffie, Sculptor

Jordan Cuffie is the talented one-man army behind the incredible Patreon SkullForge Studios. He's worked on nearly every project Electi has released and has done so in a professionally stunning manner. He's a stunning illustrator, writer, and game designer in his own right, as we all learned with one of his first published games, Arsenal.

Notable Work:  SkullForge Studios (Patreon), Arsenal (Blaster, Electi), Judgement Over White Saddle (Patreon)

Gregory Horton, Electi Studio Graphic Designer

Gregory converted his bathroom into a home office so he could spend all his time publishing exciting projects like this one and collaborating with independent artists who deserve your attention. His first published book, Mike Hutchinson’s Hobgoblin, won two best miniature game rules awards before it hit shelves, and we’re just getting started.

After the campaign ends, shipping fees will be charged through BackerKit just before shipment. The final shipping costs and any additional duties, such as VAT, will be determined based on the information provided during the pledge manager process.  We’ll collect those from you and then pay them on your behalf, so you’re not stuck with any surprise charges.

No shipping will be charged at the pledge level. Shipping will be calculated in our pledge manager after the campaign. This ensures accurate pricing and keeps costs down.

Most pledges will fall in this range to ship:

United States - $10-20 USD
Canada - $25-33 USD  (I'm working on it)
United Kingdom - $10-13 USD
EU - $20-25 USD
US Territories and ROW - $35-50 USD

At this time we are unable to ship to:
Afghanistan, Belarus, Belize, Comoros, Cuba, Dominica, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), Fiji, French Polynesia, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras (Rep.), Iran, Israel, Kiribati, Korea North, Lao (Peop.Dem.Rep.), Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Lybian Arab Jamahiriya, Martinique, Mongolia, Monserrat, Palestine, Papua New Guinea, Russia, S.Georgia & Sandwich Islands, Saint Helena, Saint Kitts, Sierra Leone, Somalia, St Vincent & The Grenadines, Sudan, Suriname, Swaziland, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turks & Caicos Islands, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Yemen

Edit

Our goal is to fulfill all pledges before October 2025 but no later than January 2026. This may be subject to change based on external factors or even additional investment into the game.

The game rules have been completed and thoroughly play-tested. We’re using the funding from this campaign to invest in more art and printing. Digital rewards will be delivered as they become available.

For this campaign, we will manage localized fulfillment partners in each region. The more you pledge in a particular country, the more likely I am to set up a hub there! Currently, we are aiming to have a hub in the US and UK. Canada and Australia will be dependent on backers. Europe will be different from the UK unless we hit really high numbers in Germany. RoTW orders will be fulfilled from the most rational/economical hub.
