Project Update: THE DELAYED JUNE UPDATE

HEY EVERYONE

Sorry for the delay. I know I promised to do an update once a month, but I was away on business trips off and one for the past few weeks, and typing out an update on a 10” 10-year-old netbook is quite the chore.

THE SPINE IS BACK
I believe I might have mentioned that we were told by Round Color that the Ultramodern5 sprayed edge was not going to work. Good news on that front--the logo sprayed edge is back, but it will look a tad different than the digital renders had estimated.

The digital render…

The actual sprayed edge…

ADVENTURES
We are polishing "Madness at The Megalomart" and finishing the playtesting on “Bad News In Barkerville.” Now, that is a temporary title, but we will be employing the town name in some capacity. This is replacing the title for The Phantom Stage (the actual campaign isn’t changing) because, at the time, we weren’t sure we were going to be able to use the name Barkerville.

Well, it turns out we can.

THRESHOLD
As I might have mentioned, the Threshold adventure I am designing has exploded in scope and size. It won’t be one book but two on the same SKU. One is the narrative artbook, and the second is the RPG. I have given Nick Greenwood carte blanche to do anything he wants in any style he wants. These sketches are obviously rough…

But I do like where his imagination is going…

Obviously, book printing is taking longer than expected, likely compounded by the leather wraps, spray edges, pressed embossing, and lenticular panels for the Amethyst Kickstarter being printed at the same time.

The point is progress is being made. I promise I won’t leave you all high and dry again.
