In Thread of a Spider, two siblings, and a young lady Ailis (Irish for Alice) and her teenage brother Paddy, are caught in the war of 1920. Unfortunately Ailis' fiance, Liam, is captured by the British and Paddy is kidnapped by the Fae. Meanwhile her parents' home burns to the ground. What should Ailis do? What is she thinking?
