Pre-historic Elephants
There is something wonderful about holding a figure in your hands, about bringing pre-history to life and seeing the origins of modern-day species. That’s why Eons has teamed up with Creative Beast Studios to put the ancestors of elephants right into your hands, as fully-articulated, detailed and scientifically accurate action figures!
Prehistoric creatures have captivated us for generations and were one of our first loves as children. We all know of them, people love them all around the world, and yet these majestic creatures of prehistory are sorely underrepresented in the collectibles industry, most notably, as action figures.

The Figures
Mammuthus primigenius is one of the last species of mammoth that lived. Standing as tall as 13 feet, and probably coexisting with humans, they were about the same size as modern African elephants, but had adapted smaller ears and their eponymous wooly coat in order to stay warm in North American and Siberian climates.
Our 1/18th Scale Wooly Mammoth is 14 inches long with 24 points of articulation. It was designed by famed paleoartist Ross Persichetti, and sculpted by Jun Huang.
Each 1/18th Scale Wooly Mammoth will include three sets of interchangeable tusks, adult-male,
adult female, and battle-damaged.
STATS:
- 11 inches long (14 inches with tusks)
- 9 inches high
- 24 points of articulation
THE BABY
A few years ago, the discovery of an infant Mammathus primigenius wooly mammoth in Trʼondëk Hwëchʼin Traditional Territory had ice-age paleontologists abuzz with excitement. The Trʼondëk Hwëchʼin Elders named her “Nun Cho Ga,” or “big baby animal” in their local language. Before that, another baby mammoth was found that was nearly perfectly preserved. This one had ginger hair!
That ginger-haired mammoth became the inspiration for our action figure. 1/18th scale with 18 points of articulation, she’s the most adorable addition to our prehistoric proboscidean collection. She was designed and sculpted by famed paleoartist Ross Persichetti.
STATS:
- 3.5 inches long
- 2.5 inches high
- 18 points of articulation

Eons takes you on a journey through the history of life on Earth. Join hosts Kallie Moore, Michelle Barboza-Ramirez, Gabriel Santos, and Blake de Pastino as they take you from the dawn of life in the Archaean Eon through the Mesozoic Era — the so-called “Age of Dinosaurs” -- right up to the end of the most recent Ice Age. Eons is produced in collaboration with PBS Digital Studios.
Who We Are
Creative Beast Studio is a sole-proprietorship owned by David Silva, a designer/ sculptor in the toys and collectibles industry since 2003. David has worked for companies such as McFarlane Toys (Dragons, Spawn), Hasbro (Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Marvel), and NECA (Predator, Godzilla, Pacific Rim, Aliens). David has run Creative Beast Studio in addition to full-time employment in the toy industry since Fall of 2009. With an initial focus on dinosaur model kits, the Beasts of the Mesozoic: Raptor Series Kickstarter in 2016 has helped grow the company's audience exponentially and the focus is now to seek the potential for wildlife-based action figures, for which collectors have very few options.

Why Backerkit?
We are excited to create these figures for science enthusiasts, collectors, and fans of Eons and prehistoric creatures. However, it is expensive, especially upfront! That's why we're here on Backerkit. When you pre-order a figure here, you're helping us pay to get them designed, tooled, molded, painted and produced. The more folks who back this project, the more figures we will be able to make. We're starting with a 1/18th scale Wooly Mammoth and baby, but we have many more designs we'd love to announce once we hit our goal!

Shipping, Sales Tax, and VAT are not included in your pledge. You will be charged shipping and any applicable taxes when the figures are finished. This is so we can charge you the lowest accurate shipping price. While we've included rough estimates for shipping at the bottom of each figure's details-page, they are only estimates and may change based on your exact address.
When the order is ready to ship, estimated late-Spring 2025, we will contact you with more accurate shipping estimates!
