I hope everyone is having a great weekend, and if not, I hope it gets better! I hope this update will be exciting, at the very least. I know I was super duper happy to see the first Gertie!
She has a bit of a donkey-like appearance, which makes me even more excited to have a donkey character at some point, but for now we're working on making Gertie look more like a giraffe!
Before I start rambling about that, let me show you a little gif.

I've discussed it with the manufacturer, and Gertie is also going to be 20'' instead of 18'' to achieve a taller, more giraffe appearance! Here is a visual of the edits for our next sample!
Edits
It's just really minor things, ultimately! I'm glad we have the designer we have. She really knows what we're going for here.
OH! Also, I think we're adding snap buttons to all of the accessories so they're more easily removed. She did a great job making that work for Nessie, so I'm excited to see it.
Lupin and Batty
I also finally received Batty and Lupin and I cannot stress enough how little justice pictures do them. I cannot wait til everyone gets them in their hands! They have such a nice weight to them. They're soft. FLOPPY!! Cuddly!!
The dimension to their face is so nice! Photos kind of flatten all these things out, but golly-- you'll all see! I'm going to get better pictures of video of these two soon! I've been under the weather with a stomach bug, but I am finally bouncing back!
I really appreciate everyone's support and patience with this process so far! If you are a contest winner, I promise I'm going to get to manually adding everyone's rewards in this coming week. This stomach bug really got me, and I've been so busy to top it all off-- but it is definitely one of the top to-dos!
