If you have not received your package or a tracking number yet, please check to make sure your survey was completed and shipping has been paid. If those have been taken care of, you should see a tracking number for your order. If not, or if there are any other lingering issues, please reach out to us ASAP at [email protected].

The final deadline for completing surveys and payments, or to notify us about any issues, is December 31st, 2024. After this date, your rewards will be forfeit and your pledge will become a donation. We have limited space to hold on to inventory.

Hello all! We have some exciting news: the USPS has picked up all of the packages! Tracking info should start updating shortly, and you should have your pins sometime in the next week. (Note: There are a couple of straggling payments out there still, and 1-2 payments that came through after I scheduled the pickup. I'll ship those out as they come in.)

I'm pleased to report that last week we finally received the stickers we ordered, and we got right to work getting orders packed. We are now about 75% done packing individual orders, and expect to finish in the next day or two!

Some of you received a notification when we bought shipping labels a couple of weeks ago and may have been concerned to not see any updates on the tracking numbers. Rest assured, your package has not been lost! I just forgot to uncheck a box when generating the first batch of labels and a notification was generated automatically when I purchased labels. Sorry about that! There are so many steps to getting hundreds of orders out the door, and the logistics have been tricky at times. I'm learning a lot and I'm confident next time will be smoother sailing.

In any case, the packages are sitting in my garage at the moment but I am scheduling a USPS pickup this week and everything should be in your hands soon thereafter. We can't wait to see what you think!

Helllooo dear backers,

I've been so hard at work grading pins (all 2,600 of them!) that I completely spaced writing an update! Needless to say, we received all pins from the manufacturer. And they are absolutely stunning! With the help of family and friends, every single pin has been graded and about 3/4 are on backing cards. Whew! I feel extremely accomplished.

And still, the work continues! This week I'm getting the rest of the pins onto backing cards. We're still awaiting delivery of stickers & other inserts from the printer, which should happen by September 19th. In the meantime I'll be picking orders and setting things up so we can just drop the stickers in when they get here and package each order up.

If all goes as planned, our hope is to have everything in the mail before September is over! 🎉

Looking Ahead

Our burgeoning art collective Honey Scamps has some fun things in the works. As mentioned in the previous update, the Chonky Bears Pin Collection is going live October 1st, just in time for Katmai National Park's Fat Bear Week! 

At the same time, Carrie Alyson is launching Coping Cats, the long-awaited followup to their first crowdfunding campaign Calming Cats for the Anxious Purrsonality. We're teaming up to offer rewards to backers who pledge for both campaigns. Get ready because there are some extremely cute furry friends coming your way!

Last but not least, our friend Kim Kuzuri has a campaign launching in October, as well. Killer Style is inspired by the trendsetting orcas from the 80s to today, with rad dad hats & matching pins in glorious neon.

Happy Monday, all. We have great news—we got notification from our manufacturer that the pins have shipped! They should be arriving to me some time this week; then grading, packaging, and shipping can finally begin. At this point we are expecting to start shipping orders out in September.

With that in mind, the time has come to start locking addresses and charging shipping. We've created our shipping profiles and it looks like the shipping costs we provided as an estimate during the campaign were appropriately in line with current rates. Yay!

We will be charging your cards for shipping later this week, approximately Thursday/Friday, August 22-23.

Now that we're moving onto fulfillment for Just Say No, our creative collective (Honey Scamps) is looking ahead to what's next. In October we'll be launching another pin campaign, this time inspired by the adorable fat bears of Katmai National Park! If you love a chubby bear champion, please give Chonky Bears a follow—there are freebies in it for you!
