Good News. The books arrived, and shipping has started. All shipping within the US will be completed by the end of January. International shipping will vary by location. Some locations reported that delivery could take up to four weeks. All international shipping should be received by the end of February.
*** Spoiler alert *** The puzzle pack and digital bookmarkers may contain spoilers. You should read the stories in the book before printing the digital bookmarkers or solving the puzzles.
The puzzle pack includes a link to a website that can help you with the puzzles. The website has answer checkers and hints that will be released soon.
Please Note: The eBook will only be available to those who purchased it.
Those who requested a physical reward and have not provided their address and/or paid for shipping will not be able to receive their rewards. A final email has been sent to those in this category.

David Farland (Pen name for Dave Wolverton) passed away in 2022. We have worked with his family members: his wife, Mary, and two sons, Ben and Forrest. Through their assistance, we could include "On My Way to Paradice" and provide the eBook "Of Mice and Magic."

If you need to review your shipping address, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://the-sum-of-all-writers.backerkit.com/
If you still need to answer your survey, you can complete it to get your rewards, but your shipment may be delayed.
We're currently aiming to ship rewards in late November to early December. If you need to change your shipping address, please make the changes in your BackerKit survey in the next two days.
The Sum of All Writers is possible because of you. Thank you for your extreme patience as we complete our first BackerKit project. It has been an experience.

Early in the program, we informed everyone that we would charge shipping later.
In update #11, we reminded everyone that we would charge shipping and any owed funds in a few days. Those charges took place on or around the last week of October. I thought the charge would appear as BackerKit, but I have confirmed with a customer that it is listed on their statement as "You Are Worth It, " our company's name.
The shipping charges, which mostly ranged from $9.95 to $19.95, were applied based on your order and location. You can verify these charges by logging into your BackerKit account, ensuring transparency and peace of mind.
Some individuals did not recognize the charge and have disputed it with their credit card company. We’re all human, and I understand that mistakes can happen. Disputing a charge involves paperwork, which can delay the fulfillment process. Unfortunately, we can't ship rewards to anyone with a disputed charge or an outstanding balance. This issue only affects those who have contested a charge. Please resolve this issue quickly.
As we discuss the balance due, it's important to note that several backers still need to complete their survey, provide their shipping address, and pay for shipping. The system can only charge you shipping once it knows how much to charge, as determined by your order and address. Your prompt action will significantly help us fulfill your rewards smoothly. Once you enter your address, the correct shipping amount will be displayed.
Project update:
We have received the physical proofs. They look great. We expect to start the printing process early next week.
Farland The Dragon keychain is out of testing and in the production phase.
Everything is coming together quickly. I cannot stress enough the importance of ensuring that your survey is complete and that we have your correct address. The cut-off date for changing your address will be soon. Please do not delay.
This has been a fantastic journey, thanks to all of you, our backers. We could not have done it without you. We appreciate your support and understanding as we navigate these final stages of the project.

We still have a few people who have not completed their survey. If you pledged digital-only content, I will attempt to close the survey for you. Physical rewards require an address to be shipped. If you see a hefty shipping price, it should change once you have entered your address. The default shows the highest cost and does not apply to most people.
