The regular hardcovers arrived without their dust jackets, but the printer will be sending those separately, so I will send them out as soon as I receive them :)
As for the special editions, I finally got the proof! It's gorgeous with the art and the foil and the sprayed edges...I can't wait for you all to see it :) I've ordered all your copies, but the estimated shipment date is the end of February. Assuming the printer's sprayed edge machine doesn't break down again, I am hoping to have this campaign entirely fulfilled by the end of March. My fingers and toes are crossed.
And, in case I haven't mentioned it recently, thank you so much for being on this journey with me, and I hope you love First Life: Duet!

The paperbacks, however, have shipped from the printer and are on their way to my house, so I am hoping to ship those back out to you by next week! Which is super exciting :) There are still three of you who haven't filled out your surveys, so please make sure you get that in ASAP. I'll lock the addresses once I receive the books, in case anyone plans to move soon ;)
The digital version of First Life Duet has been uploaded as well, but it seems like I need to charge the cards first, (so the orders don't have a balance) before you can access them. I will be doing that tomorrow morning, at which point anyone who had the First Life Duet ebook in their pledge should receive it through Backerkit's pledge manager. If anyone has any difficulties, let me know and I can send it through Bookfunnel instead.

Once they lock, I will be delivering the First Life Duet ebooks directly through Backerkit. If you prefer bookfunnel or need a different format (like a PDF) let me know and I will get that to you!
As for physical rewards, there have been some snafus. First, the sprayed edge machine at Bookvault was broken, which means that all their orders (including the proof copy of First Life Duet's special edition) are backed up. My estimated delivery date is just before Christmas, at which point I would have to check the proof, revise any files that didn't come out right, and order your copies. I am hoping their estimate is off, but it is looking like fulfillment on those will happen in January/February after all (which is still within the promised deadline, just not earlier, as I had hoped).
Second, as you may have heard, Canada Post is currently on strike. As a Canadian, this means that even the physical rewards I have cannot be sent...yet. I hope it will be resolved quickly, but I am also looking into other delivery methods, just in case.

Everyone has until October 31st to give the name they would like to appear in the acknowledgements, then I can deliver on the ebooks, digital goods, and oracle cards, as well as order the print books. I cannot wait!

Smoke Tests have already been sent to a few backers, and once we get those back without issue, the rest of the surveys will go out for you to confirm your add-ons and determine shipping costs.
If you would like to save on shipping and see me in person, I will be offering local pickup at the Montreal Comic Con Holiday Event, December 7th and 8th at the Palais des Congres. (If you are someone who sees me in person, please also select Local Pickup ;) ) To do this, simply choose "Local pickup" as your country when entering your address.
