Wherefore, a "Secret Diary," then means "a secret secret" that must be kept hidden. It's an unrevealed mystery. Typically a diary contains personal and confidential information, thoughts, and experiences that an individual wishes to keep private. It serves as a personal space for the writer to express their innermost feelings, reflect on their day, share secrets, or document significant events in their life.

If you're a Disney fan, we understand why you're here. We created "Steamboat Willie: Dark Seas," as a board game homage to the cartoon film, "Steamboat Willie," when it went into Public Domain.
We wanted to honor the legacy by very carefully following all laws pertaining to Public Domain. We quickly grew a following of more than 1000 fans. We like Disney, and after hearing they were not supporting independent projects, we decided to stop what I were doing.
That was a bummer! We created a another board game using different characters.
The crowdfunding was not successful and we asked our fans why?
A whopping 70% told us they REALLY wanted "Steamboat Willie," instead of the other characters.
Meanwhile, we had so much interest - more than 1300 fans, when we were invited to join BackerKit's "Booktopia" group crowdfunding launch on September 5, 2024, we jumped at the chance.
We were thinking, what would happen if we found a diary on the beach belonging to one of the crew aboard "Steamboat Willie's boat.

CROSS COLLABORATION WITH Charles M. Ryan.
Steamboat Willie is cross collaborating with Charles M. Ryan and his two novels: That's right: One campaign, two books! The well-reviewed The Mason of New Orleans will take you on a immersive, fast-paced journey into the age of the crusades. The Angel of Ectabana will take you on another journey equally filled with action, mystery, astonishing plot twists, and characters you'll love spending hours with.
When you support Steamboat Willie's Secret Diary, at minimum Digital Download level and, Charles M. Ryan you will get an alternative chapter to The Mason of New Orleans, and a Steamboat Willie digital cover art print!
The book is not completed. Once the story is finished, the book will be sent to editors to edit story and edit for grammar. Once that is completed it will be sent to the artist for artwork to highlight areas of the book. Once that is completed we will proof, and get it to the printer for printing. We anticipate you will receive your company in 90-120 days. Please expect a late December/January time frame.
We will keep you updated with our progress as we will ask for you to vote on your choice for different elements of the book.
Vintage Comic
Because the digital comics are not completed, we anticipate you will receive them in 60 days, from the day we order and can get our artist, or another to complete the cells. Please expect a December time frame.
SWAG
B All Swag must wait until the appropriate artwork is completed and will be ordered immediately thereafter. Most have 30-60 delivery times from order.
We will keep you updated with our progress for all items ordered.
After the campaign ends, your shipping will be calculated based on your reward(s) and shipping address. Shipping fees are not included in the reward costs listed on the campaign page. Rather, all shipping will be charged after the campaign ends. This will allow us to charge the lowest possible shipping fees based on your total order and where we are shipping your items to.
We have worked with our fulfillment partner to minimize shipping costs in a number of ways, but please be sure to take the additional shipping costs into account when making the decision that is best for you.
