Gunslinger-for-hire Lazaro Priest accepts a mission to rescue Nicolette Locket, a French noblewoman trapped within the fairgrounds in Chicago—a vampire den. That is, if the devil who roams the streets doesn’t find her first.
Lazaro’s quest will force him to come face to face with ravenous vampires, devious carnies, steampunk pirates, and a demonic serial killer on the loose. But time is not on his side. Can he save Nicolette before her clockwork heart ticks towards doomsday?
