After 40 years of being away from d&d, just getting back into role-playing games I’m enjoying reading cairn and shadow dark and can’t wait for the goods I’ve backed to arrive to start playing but the pdf’s will be great for now (my Mrs. Won’t let me use her work printer to print anything off because of the precious black ink lol 😂 )
Dungeons and Dragons have really changed over the years. I have all the latest books yet to read 5e seems very intense and confusing. (All the so-called dungeons and dragons improvements is just moneymaking I think with so many books and updates)
For more fun and a simpler game I may go back to my earlier versions of D&D which I’ve kept all these years and read them again and start exploring with the new role-play games above-mentioned.
My partner is not interested in role-playing games so I may struggle to find somebody to learn with playing online is not the same as my childhood experiences of sat in the group and having fun so the search continues for like-minded individuals 🙀in my area lol 😜
