Bill Campbell is the author of Sunshine Patriots, Koontown Killing Kaper, and The Day the Klan Came to Town. Along with Edward Austin Hall, he co-edited the groundbreaking anthology, Mothership: Tales from Afrofuturism and Beyond, as well as Stories for Chip: A Tribute to Samuel R. Delany and APB: Artists against Police Brutality. Campbell has won the Glyph Lifetime and Achievement/Pioneer Award for his contributions in Black comics and the Locus Award for Amplifying Marginalized Voices.
