Project Update: January 2025 Update
Greetings, friends!
XYZ Game Labs here to share what we’ve been up to and what we’ve got planned. Lots of great stuff for 2025!
ArchRavels: Magic Socks & Theme Packs
We’re so excited to be putting the final stitch on this one. It’s taken a lot longer than we’d hoped, but we’re near the end. Thanks for staying with us!
Most recent progress:
- The last update mentioned that box adjustments were needed for our Theme Packs. Those adjustments have now been made and we are awaiting an updated proof to review and approve. However! In the meantime, we did receive a video from our production partner showing off the new box with a stronger magnet and the lay flat lid. We think it looks great!
- As soon as we receive and approve the color proofs for the Theme Pack box revisions we’ll not only update y’all but also be officially in Production. (This includes all the deluxe components as well)
Rivals and Awards Season:
- With magic socks in production, we are now able to really focus on these two mini-expansions. They are still scheduled to be released and shipped later this year.
- As a thank you for your patience, we will be covering the shipping cost of sending these out to everyone who pre-ordered them.
Titania Ascending
While we’ve been focused on getting ArchRavels finished, we were unfortunately idle on this project. To be honest we weren’t sure when we’d be able to get this wrapped up, but have remained committed to doing so.
Well, we’re here with good news! Titania Ascending indeed rolls along – primary art and layout have been completed and we’re ready to move to the proofing stage of production.

Most recent progress:
- We completed the Fate cards.
- We finalized the stretch-goal cards.
- We reviewed and finalized all the other components.
- We finalized the rulebook, both the layout and text.
- We’ve updated the quote with our printer.
Next Step:
- Submitting files and kicking-off the proofing process.
- After approvals, we begin printing.
What’s Next for XYZ Game Labs
We’re very proud of what we’ve accomplished so far with XYZ Game Labs. With our latest, albeit delayed products; ArchRavels: Magic Socks, ArchRavels Theme Packs, and Titania Ascending all moving into production we’ve set our sights this year on how we can use our time most effectively and ensure we don’t bite off more than we can chew.

With that in mind - We’re excited to share the next step in our journey. Join XYZ Game Labs & Borogove Games – as we fall into the surreal and delightful dice drafting world of Rolling in Wonderland.
In Rolling in Wonderland, you embark on a magical journey populated by classic characters like The Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, and The Queen of Hearts.
Each round, you’ll carefully choose dice to draft, earning bonuses based both on the number of dice you take and on their color. You can use potent mushrooms to alter the dice, and bonus cards from the Mad Hatter to break the rules.
But beware the Jabberwock, my friend! When it attacks, you’ll gain extra points if your soldiers fend it off, and even more points from the Queen for each area where you hold the most influence.
The game ends in one of several ways, and the player who had the best adventure wins. Callooh! Callay!
