Wolf Pack Pups: A Halloween Trick or Treat Tail is a high-quality board book written by me, Robert A. Multari, and featuring gorgeously illustrated pages by Megan Affolter! The story is about two young werewolf pups, Night Wolf and Snow Paw, who are excited to go trick-or-treating among the humans without scaring anyone. While the pups are going door to door collecting candy, their Monster Grade School classmates, Janelle and Circe are up to no good! Jealous of the pups’ strong friendship the twin witches cast a spell, turning Night Wolf into a Voodoo Doll Plush Toy!

This story teaches young children not to be jealous if their best-friend has other friends, that it is okay to have many friends to share and play with at school or anywhere. The moral of the story was inspired by a real-life situation that I experienced with my daughter and her best-friend at preschool last year.

I have already invested my own time and money to ensure that Snow Paw Werewolf 13" Plushie prototype is 100% complete and ready to go to production.  That's why I have come to BackerKit Crowdfunding to the raise funds for printing and to help get this new plush toy into as many hands as possible to help continue to self-publish this incredible new series.

I’ve personally backed several independent crowdfunding projects because I believe that Indie Creators have great stories that need to be told. I believe that  crowdfunding is a powerful tool to help creators, like myself, to bring our characters to life for everyone to enjoy.

By joining the wolf pack and backing this project, you will not only be helping to make sure that this book is printed. You will also receive amazing exclusive rewards and bonuses.

I will be handling fulfillment 100% in-house. I want to make sure that everything arrives to you as quickly as possible and limit the possibility of unforeseen delays, which is why I will be rolling up my sleeves to personally overseeing fulfillment for every backer. 

In April of 2016, I launched a failed Kickstarter campaign for Night Wolf Issues 1-3. I played the game on hard, setting a $20,000 goal. However, I did manage to raise $5,064 from my 74 backers, unfortunately Kickstarter is all or nothing. At the time I only had the character designs, a cover and 5 sequential pages during that launch. Even though the Kickstarter didn’t fund I was bound and determined to publish my story. Because I didn’t have the funds to finish the first issue, I decided to raise the money on my own doing freelance web design work to pay for the artwork.

After self-publishing Night Wolf Issues 1 and 2, I launched another Kickstarter in October 2019 to print Night Wolf Issues 3 with a more reasonable funding goal of $5,000. The campaign was successfully overfunded, thanks to the amazing 217 backers that I refer to as my Wolf Pack. Since then, I have launched nine successfully over-funded Kickstarter campaigns, thanks to returning/new Wolf Pack members, for Night Wolf Issues 1-9, Night Wolf Volumes 1 & 2 trade paperbacks, Snow Paw Issues 1-3, two Plush Toys inspired by Night Wolf, and the Wolf Pack Pups children's board book! Now, I'm back and ready to release my third plush toy!

In addition, I have been educating myself through the Comixlaunch course, which is a Kickstarter training program created by Tyler James. Tyler is the Publisher of ComixTribe and has successfully funded many Kickstarter campaigns. Through the ComixLaunch community I have also been a part of a ComixLaunch Mastermind group of independent creators that have all ran successful campaigns in the past, and I've spent time learning and being mentored by the very talented members of the group.

I know 2020 - 2024 have been very challenging years, and there is still a lot going on all over the world right now in 2025. This turmoil is very stressful for us all. Collecting, reading, and creating comics books have always been an escape from the stressful things in my life. My hope is that by creating my comics books and putting them out into the world for you to enjoy also helps to relieve some of your stress as well. And that is what I am laser focused on doing!

Again, I've teamed up with with the Skelton Crew, a veteran plush and licensed toy design studio to ensure a prototype of upmost quality. Skelton has worked closely with a with well-regarded factory for the prototype development and are waiting for the funds to come to run the production of the plush toys.

However, there might be some unforeseen circumstances that may cause delays from the manufacturer and shipping causing the delivery date to pushed back. For example the current global shipping delays could possibly delay physical rewards past my estimated delivery date. If this happens I will keep you updated on the situation every step of the way!
