The rivers are flooding and the sloths are in need of rescue! Prove yourself by saving sloths in this drafting game and you'll be rewarded with even more sloths!
The rivers are flooding and swooping up all the SLOTHS - they are too slow to outrun the rising waters. You are competing wildlife rescuers each trying to save the most sloths and make them happy. Save the most sloths and be awarded with MORE SLOTHS!
Happy sloths are sloths that are in a group of the same type with increasing size. For each type of sloths, the player with the most sloths in a run will be awarded the surplus sloths of those types to take care of at the end of the game. The catch? Only the Surplus sloths score you points. There's a SURPLUS OF SLOTHS!
The Starting Rescuer will choose a sloth in one of the two rows of sloths in the river to save. Every other player will save another sloth in that row. The remaining sloth won't be saved; but don't worry! It's caught by the Surplus net, to be saved at the end of the game.
Some sloths are social butterflies easily fit in with the other sloths of their type. These are marked with an X. They are wild and will fill in a missing spot in a run if you're missing a sloth. If they end up in the surplus net, they multiply the value of that type of sloths!
After each round of saving sloths, a new row of sloths is revealed and the Starting Rescuer is the next player in turn order. Once all the sloths are rescued, players see who had the longest run (with highest number breaking ties) of happy sloths for each type in the surplus. The player with the longest run is awarded the the surplus sloths of that type. Only the surplus sloths score points! Add up all the values of surplus sloths multiplied by any X value sloths of that type in the surplus. Whoever has the highest value of sloths from the surplus net at the end of the game wins!
The drafting choices are very thinky starting from which of the two rows of the river to draft from to whether you should draft the high card sloths to form a longer, higher run, or let those high sloths go and fall into the surplus net, driving their type's score higher. Watch out as other players may draft them before they end up in the surplus! Keep tabs on what your opponents are drafting, as the longer run can grab the points for your smaller, higher run. There's so many interesting choices in this small card game that your mind will be racing at the SPEED OF SLOTH! Make sure to save sloth types wisely as any you save from the river, don't end up in the surplus to be won!

It's basically impossible to estimate shipping costs right now. We will be charging a reasonable cost to ship in the pledge manager after the campaign ends. That won't be determined until much closer to shipping day. Of course you'll have the ability for a refund of your pledge if the costs don't work for you.
*We are currently not planning to ship to the following areas: Mexico, Brazil, Ukraine, and Russia. These regions tend to have expensive shipping, if shipping is even possible at this time.
