Hi, I'm Ion, aka Violet Magician. I've been making sets of carousel themed pins for a bit now, and these carousel pins are all themed around creatures found in music, especially in old folk songs. In the pin section I've included a bit of info about the song each pin is based on, and I've translated a couple of the song lyrics from their original German. The English language songs are mostly from the Child Ballads (apart from switching Sir Lionel to Old Bangum) which I recommend giving a look if you're interested in folk songs! Also this campaign is part of Pin Quest and if you back 3 or more Pin Quest campaigns you will receive a free mini pin from each campaign you have backed. In addition to that this campaign also has a cross-collab partner, and if you back both campaigns you get a free mini pin from each of us. All pins in this set will be around 1.8" tall and will be hard enamel. The first pin to unlock will be fairy horse from Neue Liebe, with the rest of the pins being stretch goals that will unlock when their funding goals are reached.
For this campaign you have the opportunity for 2 free mini pins. The first is a monstrous record, which is the event reward pin. You get this pin if you back this campaign AND at least 2 other campaigns that are part of Pin Quest. The second mini pin from this campaign is the carousel campestri, the singing mushroom monster from Dungeons and Dragons. You can get this pin and the lute pin from the DnD cute monsters campaign if you back both campaigns
While the campaign is going you can pledge to any open level and your money will be withdrawn only at the end of the campaign if successful. The pin designs available will depend upon how much is raised during the campaign (see the pins section for specific pin goals). You can also choose to add on any of the add-ons at any point you choose, which will be in addition to the rewards for your pledge level. There is also the possibility of new add-ons being added which will be announced in an update if this happens. After the campaign is complete, you will receive a survey which is where you will be able to choose which unlocked design you want and additional add-ons that will be shipped with your order. Once you make your choices you will see shipping charges. The cost of additional add-ons and shipping will then be charged when surveys are closed. Please keep this in mind. Shipping
Shipping will be charged separately through the backerkit surveys sent out after the campaign. Shipping will be charged by weight but generally will be around $6 for the US, $10 for Canada and $20 for any other international orders. Backer is responsible for any VAT and duty fees that need to be paid for delivery. Also please note I cannot ship at all to the EU or Northern Ireland due to current shipping rules. If you want to prepay VAT fees, items will be available on my Etsy after backerkit backers have all received their pledges, but I cannot prepay VAT through backerkit.
The dates for after the campaign ends are approximate, please be aware there may be delays at any point.
