Hey there campaign followers and backers, I’m so happy to share that forty pins (plus reprints of the original Cowboy and Film Noir monster pins) have been funded. A big thank you to all of you who have shared and supported the campaign!
The next pins to unlock are the alternate versions and plating for the Dark Watcher pin at $23K I'm planning for the black nickel variants to be exclusive to cross-collab backers, but the rainbow plating variants to be open to any backer. And there will be an option to upgrade to rainbow plating if you prefer it over black nickel. However you can let me know your thoughts in the comments if you have any preference on exclusivity!
We have sixteen days until the campaign ends. You can help unlock the next goal by sharing the campaign or the designs you love the most. I have posts on Tumblr, Twitter, and Instagramthat you are welcome to share. I think we're well on our way to funding all our goals.
Early Bird and Returning Backer Rewards
Don't miss out on rewards! Returning backers will get a Vampire Mordecai sticker; early bird backers, who pledge in the first 48 hours of the campaign, will receive a Selkie Constance sticker.
Community Design
If you missed it on the campaign page, I am planning to add another monster design based on backer input! You'll notice three community posts: theme, monster, and twist.
Theme: you can cast your votes by "liking" the themes commented on the post, or if you have an idea for a new theme you can comment that. The theme with the most likes will be selected.
Monster: I've pitched a few ideas in the comments but just like with Theme, you can comment if you have your own idea and the most-liked monster idea will be selected.
Twist: An optional twist on the design! This can be anything, such as the monster's occupation, an idea for an accessory, etc.
I'll check on these posts in about 48 hours to pick the winning ideas, so be sure to comment and vote before then! Currently the top ideas are "Cyberpunk" "Chimera" who "Wears a Mask."
Preorder Designs
I got some questions about fanart pins and other designs I've shared on social media. Just to clarify, those designs will not be available to pledge for, and instead will be in the post-campaign survey/preorder store. Please see the Survey section of the campaign page for more details.
If you are only interested in those designs, I recommend you follow the campaign to be notified when the preorders are open. You don't have to pledge to the campaign for these designs.
