Hi, I'm USA Today bestselling author Tina Glasneck and we're roaring to unlock all these wonderful pins...because we can never have enough dragons and it's never too late to find your inner dragon!

Inspired by the dragons from my fantasy world, we're kicking off our elemental dragons' campaign with six designs ready for you to unlock, and as we earn more, we'll have additional elemental dragons' designs commissioned. 

First up...

As a lover of and creator of TTRPG (tabletop role-playing games), we've specially crafted a DND-inspired pin so you can showcase your love of rolling the dice in your favor. 

I admit it: I have a thing for dragons. They can be big and fierce or cute and cuddly. There is just something about these magnificent beasts that call to me.

I write about them (20+ books and counting).

Collect them.

And always find a way to embrace a bit of joy when I see them. They are wonderful, and exciting and always bring me such joy.

That's why I created this pin collection-- dragons bring happiness, they are magical, protectively fierce, and loyal even. For me, they signify strength, beauty, and bounty, and a promise of magic being real even when we can't see it. 

And I know I'm not alone.

My friend, Therena, said it best, "From the ashes of despair will rise a thing of beauty and grandeur." 

I believe in magic and dragons are my favorite mythical creatures. I paint them, draw them, and write about them. When I meditate, I even have them there in that quiet space --I really love dragons.

And it is part of that love that compelled me to create my first dragon pin collection.

Welcome to my world of gods and monsters, magic and might!

As you can tell, I love dragons. But I also love Norse gods, monsters, myth, mayhem, and magic. These are the cornerstones of my book world and being able to commission artwork to bring my dragons to life is like a puzzle piece finally fitting into place.

The elemental dragons for this campaign are inspired by Norse mythology, we're talking about fire, air, water, and earth.

For instance, my dragon queen is the daughter of the Norse god Baldr, and her element is fire, while her brothers are air and water.

For the earth dragon, I wanted to tie in something different, the wyvern we meet in A Dragon's Witch. Here is a lovely description: 

"Winged beasts flew overhead. But they weren’t dragons. Although their heads were shaped like dragons, their bodies were more reptilian, even in color with their muted greens and browns. Certainly not as vibrant as the dragon. They also had two legs instead of four, and their pointy tails rose and fell with each pull of their wings."

This campaign will run for 3 weeks, and we're hoping to knock this out of the park.

After it concludes, we'll send out surveys to gather your preferences.

Once we receive your survey responses and the raised funds from Backerkit, we'll place the order with our manufacturer.

Our goal is to ship out all rewards by May 2025, or sooner if possible. We've built in some buffer time to account for any unexpected delays.

Thank you for your interest in my Elemental Dragons Enamel Pins project. This project was created out of a deep passion and love for all things dragons, and I'm excited to have you along for the journey.

How Crowdfunding Works

Crowdfunding, though well-known, is often confused with GoFundMe. However, while both appeal to a larger population, that's where the comparison stops. Crowdfunding provides seed money for a project to be brought to life. In this case, since this project is for enamel pins, I've set an initial funding goal of $1,500. This initial goal will cover the cost of producing the first two pins (including the freebie pin and the dragon with the die pin).

Project Timeline

The campaign will run for 21 days, during which we'll push to unlock locked designs. These designs will be spotlighted and then unlocked as we reach stretch goals. You won't be charged until the end of the campaign (February 13). This is an all-or-nothing campaign, meaning you'll only pay if the campaign reaches its funding goal. If the campaign doesn't reach its goal, you won't be charged, and the campaign will be considered unsuccessful.

After the campaign ends, BackerKit will process your payment. Please note: the EU has introduced new rules (GPSR), which make shipping to the EU cost-prohibitive for a small business like mine. As such, this project only ships to the United States.

Once payments are processed, funds will be sent to me, approximately two weeks later. This will mark the beginning of the project's next phase.

A survey will be sent to gather the necessary information to finalize order numbers. I'll then order the pins from the manufacturer, along with any additional physical items unlocked during the campaign (stickers, dice, bookmarks). Manufacturing and shipping will take time, with an estimated 6-8 weeks for production and 10-12 weeks for shipping after the campaign ends.

My goal is to deliver your pins by the end of May 2025. If you order add-ons, digital items will be sent once payment is processed and surveys are returned. Any additional physical items will be shipped with the pins in May.

Items will be shipped with tracking to backers, and due to their contents, media mail is not an option.  I use Pirateship to send, which allows me to send commercially.

International Shipping: Due to VAT system requirements, combined with high international shipping rates, and new EU rules, we can only fulfill orders to the United States of America, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia.

Additionally, if a package is returned, a second attempt will be made to send it to you, however, you will be required to repay shipping.  Due to the nature of this project, I cannot offer refunds.
