We've got some good news! Deadline is READY... mostly ready, like 95% ready. All text, layout and imagery are ready and we're in talks with the printer to send everything over for print in the next 2 weeks!
The last few bits include getting feedback from beta readers and waiting on proofreading. Assuming there are no significant delays regarding printing or delivery of goods to the fulfilment centre, we should expect fulfilment to begin mid to end of April!

Digital fulfilment
Expect digital fulfilment to be completed in February! This will include the deadline PDF, editable and printable City record and Broadsheet, and 3 filled-in City Record sheets.
In the next update we should have a confirmation on printing and how to receive your digital reward!

Pledge Manager Surveys
A quick reminder to all backers: if you’ve yet to fill out your pledge manager surveys through Backerkit, now’s the time! These surveys are essential for confirming your address, adding extra items, and ensuring we know exactly what to print.
"Calling All Headline Backers: We Need Your Custom Ad!"
To those who pledged at The Headline tier, we need your submissions! Check your emails (and your spam folder, just in case) for the survey we sent out a few weeks ago. So far, we’ve only received one reply, and we can’t include your commissioned ads in the game until we have your details.
If you can’t find the email, message us or send an inquiry to [email protected]—don’t let your custom contribution get left out of the final print!
Other Updates
In production updates, we’re thrilled to report that we’ve partnered with a printer for all Deadline products. Having worked with them before, we’re confident in their top-notch quality.
On the writing front, all the tables for both phases of the game have been finalized and expanded. A few pages still remain, including the stretch goal table name generators, but those will be polished off in January before heading to the editor.
As the year winds down, we wish you all a wonderful holiday season and a splendid start to the new year. We’re taking a well-deserved break between the 21st till January 2nd, after which we’ll return with renewed vigour!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Shipping will be charged at a later date, closer to fulfillment. We will communicate in an update beforehand when shipping will be charged.
The pledge manager survey is where you can fill in your address, add any additional items, and help us get an accurate count of the items we need to print.
In the meantime, we are planning on finishing up the writing of Deadline in November, with artwork, layout, and editing to be completed by January. Backers who got the custom advert pledge levels, we'll reach out to you in early November.
