Metacosm Chronicles is a lore-rich scifi/fantasy universe with video game/comic/TTRPG influences created by N and A Soleil. Our hard enamel pins are inspired by five of the main characters from our first two novels, Everdark and The Fractured Balance.
Pins are a manfactured product, so keep in mind these are just estimates. We are as prepared as we can be to get manufacturing going as soon as the campaign is over, but stuff happens. Please bear with us, and we will be sure to update you all either way!
February 13, 2025: Campaign ends. It takes approximately 2-3 weeks for the funds from the campaign to be disbursed.
Early March: Surveys will be sent out (be sure you give an email when pledging that you check often; you will not get any rewards if you do not complete your survey. (If you are new to BackerKit look at our FAQ for more info on what the survey process is like.)
April: Manufacturer will be given the go-ahead to start production. Production can take up to two months.
July: We will charge shipping around this time (we will update you when we have the pins in hand, so you'll be forewarned!)
Mid-July: Shipping begins.
Late July to early August: You get your pins!

Because of new General Product Safety Regulations requiring any business selling to the EU to have an actual person in the EU I regret to inform that I won’t be taking pledges from EU backers. Note! Backerkit charges shipping separately so please consult the below estimates and be advised that we are calculating these estimates months in advance, so sometimes they may change slightly by the actual shipping date! We will be shipping via USPS with free tracking, so another reason to make sure your email address is correct, so you can know when your package is on its way! We are US-based, so for US backers: Under 8oz: $5 (this is approximately up to a full set of pins) Over 8oz: $9 (this is approximately a full set and a paperback, several paperbacks, or several sets)
For international backers: it is your responsibility to make any VAT or import fee payments as we will not be handling that. No refunds or replacements will be processed in the event that your package is lost or returned due to not paying these fees. We cannot ship to some countries: while we have made every effort to list which countries we cannot ship to and exclude them (our FAQ has the full list), there's always the possibility that we missed something. Please do your own due diligence before you pledge. Under 8oz: $20 (this is approximately up to a full set of pins) Over 8oz: $30 (this is approximately a full set and a paperback, or several sets)
Our refund policy: If we have not shipped anything and nothing has been claimed (to include digital items such as the eBooks) we will issue a full refund. If anything has been claimed or shipped, we apologize but we will not be refunding so please be sure to double-check your pledge and survey.
Metacosm is a place of concept crafted to be a sanctuary for its authors, the Prime Speakers N and A Soleil, who have been partners in life, crime, and snark, since 2006.
N is an AuDHD creative magpie who does the art, design, and putting-words-to-word-processor part of Metacosm. A is an unrepentantly nerdy combat veteran and worldbuilding badass. The two collab on characters and plot, and have a hell of a time doing so. We're human (more's the pity) and therefore everything we do -- from our writing, to our designs, covers, art, and even these pins -- is human made. We never use AI in any form.
