Project Update: We're halfway there!
Hello, you beautiful backers, and prospective future backers!
First off, let me extend a huge thanks for you're supporting of this indie writer and publisher! You won't be disappointed.
I just got back from Long Con, which is why I haven't sent out this update earlier. It was a great convention and if you haven't had a chance to go, it's definitely one to consider for next year. There were tons of great DCC, MCC, Weird Frontiers, and other Goodman Games adventures on the schedule as well as special guests like Brendan LaSalle and David Baity.
Now let's get to some good stuff, a sneak peak at one of the traps inside the module. The module is full of new, exciting, innovative traps that are going to put the players in some very precarious situations, traps that Grimtooth himself would be proud to have guarding his treasure. If you don't want to know the details until after you get a chance to play the module, don't scroll past this point. I'll be heading out to BGG Con in Dallas this week to set up the Goodman Games booth so if you're in the area be sure to stop by and say hello. After that I'll be sending out the next update after I get back.
Keep in mind Planet of the Cyclops Con is coming soon, get your badge soon if you haven't already gotten one. Planet of the Cyclops Con is an online convention for all things Goodman Games! Held virtually on Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 24. There will be special events, livestreams, and more to create a wall-to-wall weekend of virtual convention-going fun.

SPOILERS BELOW THIS POINT!
This illustration is a pit trap with a twist. The stone tile directly in front of one of the doors is a thin, brittle decoy that breaks away under the weight of the player who opens the door. The tricky part is that under the decoy tile, is a thick steel plate preventing the false floor from breaking until the perfect time. As the PC's push the door open, the steel plate slides into the floor via a peg connected to the door and the plate. With no supporting structure below it, the false flooring immediately breaks under the weight of the character, dropping them into the spiked pit below!
Check out this art by Davin Kluttz as to how this nasty trap is going to work!
This is one of my favorite pieces of art in the module.
Thanks again for backing this project. Please consider dropping this link for the project to your friends, on your social accounts, and in any related groups to help get the word out!
