For many years people have asked me if I would consider putting some of my art on a shirt, and after a lot of looking around, trying to decide on a manufacturer I wanted to try doing this with, I'm here with just that!
Turns out screen printing shirts using a local manufacturer is pretty expensive meaning I'm going to need all of your help to make these kobold shirts reality.
Please be aware that I'm located in the UK and can ship worldwide with the exception of EU and EEA countries!
So with that said, let's look at the designs!
Please be aware that these are mock-ups images and small changes to the designs may be required for production.
After a lot of wearing shirts I have settled on using the Staple [5001] shirt for these designs. They're soft, 100% combed cotton and are slightly longer than your usual t-shirt. For me ethical production is extremely important and this shirt manufacturer is WRAP certified for ethical production, Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for safe materials, Amfori BSCI for fair labour practices, and Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) supporting sustainable cotton farming.
The production partner I will be working with to print the shirts is a UK based company, further reducing the footprint when it comes to the productions of these items.

Shirt sizes range from XS to 3XL please reference the size guide below to decide which size fits you best. You will be able to choose your size after the campaign finishes.

At 8 cm/3.1 inches tall these woven patches, finished with a merrow edge to prevent fraying, will make for a great addition to your jacket or bag.
Not a kobold, but to give you an idea about what woven patches look like, and those edges, here's an example of a previous patch I've made.

Sitting at 7.6cm/3 inches big this double sided acrylic makes for a great backpack accessory for when you go out on your adventures.
Sitting at 7.9 cm/3.1 inches tall these waterproof vinyl stickers can go on your laptop, car, water bottle or anything else you like to stick things on.
They have a transparent border so they will match even better with whatever you put them on!
No need to worry about the border edge colour not being your cup of tea!

Early bird backers will already receive one of these as a freebie, but for those who missed out on it or want to get some extra ones, you can!
These vinyl stickers are approximately 7cm/2.7inch tall and will glow green. Just like the other vinyl stickers these are waterproof so you can put them on things like your water bottle.

I will not be charging shipping during the campaign, once I have all the goods in hand and it's ready for fulfilment you will be charged for shipping. This will allow me to make certain you get the best deals on shipping rates and also allow you to add any extras later on in the campaign.
I have done my best to estimate the shipping cost as best as I can but please be aware the final amount may be different.
Shipping Estimates
Due to the varied types of product in this campaign there will be different shipping rates depending on the items you have picked. The product type that has the 'highest' shipping rate will be used to calculate your shipping.
The 3 product categories, from expensive to least expensive, are 1) T-Shirts 2) Acrylic Charms and 3) Patches and Vinyl Stickers
Example: You're located in the US and you buy two t-shirts and 4 acrylic charms. This means you will pay the shipping rate for two or more t-shirts as this is the highest shipping rate (15 GBP).
Why does shipping more than one shirt cost so much extra for international orders? It all has to do with box sizes. One shirt can fit in the large letter category but 2 or more unfortunately have to be shipped as a small parcel.

Please be aware that for legal reasons I am required to declare the purchase price of the item on the delivery documents for any pledges outside of the UK. In this case that will be the total amount of your pledge (minus shipping). I have no control over any import charges that may be applied by individual countries.
By backing this campaign you agree that you are aware that you are responsible for any VAT and additional customs charged by your country. I will not refund any items returned to me due to unpaid customs duties or incomplete/incorrect addresses.
In a perfect world I would expect the timeline for this project to look like the following:
March: MAKE OR BREAK TIME - this is when we run the campaign. April: Funds should come in this month meaning production can start! May: The products should come in from the various production partners and are quality checked. After everything has passed QA a backer store will open, allowing you to grab up any extras you may like to get. This will also be when the final shipment is calculated and invoiced. June: Backer goodies are sent on their way to you!
While this is my first BackerKit campaign this isn't my first Crowdfunding Campaign. I have 13 successful Kickstarter campaigns under my belt, so when it comes to that side of things I am absolutely certain I'm going in fully prepared.
I'm not going to pretend that the first time of running a new product type doesn't come with some challenges, however I have been in touch with the business who will be printing these shirts and fully trust that they will deliver fantastic quality. Same goes with products I am very familiar with like the patches, vinyl stickers and acrylic charms.
This all said, should there be any production hiccoughs I will be in touch with all backers, I promise that you will never be left in the dark.
