Project Update: Physical Orders Pushed Out Today
Good morning!
We will be pushing Backerkit orders to the warehouse today for everyone who ordered physical products. There are a very small handful of y'all who ordered dice sets, and these orders will lag behind the others by a few days. We just recently received our order from our dice supplier after closing out Late Pledges, so we are doing final assembly and getting them shipped to the warehouse.
Due to some new updates and plugins for Shopify, when we push the order over, there will a duplication of digital distribution. You will receive your file directly from Shopify, it will attach it to your DTRPG account if you haven't already done so, and it will send you another Itch.io code. Please feel free to share this second Itch.io code with someone as a community copy. We appreciate you and your patience as backers, so this extra digital copy is a small gift.
We will be updating digital copies everywhere soon once the stretch goal player aids are finalized. They are looking good, and we're still working on the final polish on these portions. We're almost completely done, and we're so excited that physical books are going to start shipping.

Project Update: February Update - Digital Distribution Commences
Good afternoon!
We are going to be sending out digital distribution for Advanced Rules today! Here is the process that we will be following.
We are going to be sending out digital distribution for Advanced Rules today! Here is the process that we will be following.
- If selected, backers who backed all tiers other than the RV Games Digital Bundle or RV Games Physical Bundle will have their final copies sent out via DTRPG.
- All backers will also receive an Itch.io key that they can use to attach Advanced Rules to their Itch account. This will be distributed via BackerKit Digital Downloads.
- Backers who backed either of the bundle tiers will have their digital bundles sent via DTRPG.
- We will push orders out via Shopify for backers within the digital pledge tiers who ordered add-ons. You will get your files for your add-ons via Shopify instead of DTRPG or Itch.io. A side effect of distributing this way is that you will receive a copy of your files via Shopify in addition to the other methods.
- If you pledged at a physical tier and ordered digital add-ons, you will receive these digital add-ons when your physical order is pushed to Shopify.
- Due to a backlog of projects and life reasons, D.N. Wilkie is still working on the digital player aids that are included as stretch goals. We are going to distribute our prototypes for these organizers via BackerKit Digital Downloads, so you have some very rough versions (these are from my home game) to use as you read the book. We will update our digital files in all places once the final player aids are completed, and you will get a notification. Please don't share these beyond your table.
- Digital copies of Advanced Rules will go on sale to the public via DTRPG, Itch.io, and the RV Games Shop.
- The free online web version of Advanced Rules is now permanently available at https://advanced.rvgames.company. We will still be doing some small tweaks and quality of life updates on this site, and it will also get the player aids uploaded as soon as they are complete.
We are still working on finalizing things with the warehouse to get physical copies fulfilled. We have closed BackerKit to Late Pledges, but folks are still able to pre-order directly from the RV Games shop. There are also a small handful of folks who have not yet locked their addresses, and you should already of received a reminder from BackerKit to lock your address.
Thank you for all of your support as we work through the convoluted process of distribution and fulfillment. It seems as though digital distribution is simpler than physical distribution, but as you can see there quite a few variables at play.
You can expect to hear from us again when we are going to start pushing out physical orders. We're just about there, it has been a journey.

Project Update: January Update - In Production, Locking Addresses
We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!
This is a short and positive update. We’ve gone into production with the printers. We’re finalizing digital copies, and we will send out final copies via DTRPG and Itch soon as well. We’ll also be locking addresses this week to fully prepare for shipping orders.
We’re just about there! Please complete your survey if you have not already done so to make sure you correctly receive your order. Late Pledges are still open, we’ll announce when we’re finally shutting them off.
We’ll send out updates as we start fulfillment, which should progress smoothly.

Project Update: November - Progress and Shipping Update
We have a short update coming into December. First, we've finished indexing, and I am just finishing typesetting and final proofing. We will be distributing finalized digital copies via DTRPG and Itch, shortly after I finish these tasks. We should be ordering our sample physical copy within the next week and moving into full production shortly after that. This means that we will finally be shipping physical copies in January. Please be sure to complete your survey if you have not already, we still have 12% of backers who need to do so, and you don't want any delays once we start shipping. Please email [email protected] if you are having any issues accessing your survey. Finally, some time in January, we will also have the digital files available for all of the stretch goals (player and warden aids from DN Wilkie). In January and February, I will then work on cleaning up the online version of Advanced Rules since there are some things that need to be reformatted compared to the print version.

Project Update: November Update - Indexing Progress, Survey Reminder
Happy Spooky Month to Everyone!
We don't have an extensive update this month, we've just been heads down throughout October and are relishing the weather change here in California. This means that we will be fulfilling in November as we put together the final touches.
- Roz has made progress on indexing the book, but it is a big book, so it's taken a bit longer than anticipated.
- Sheets and trackers have made it through one round of layout but needed some revisions, so now we are waiting on this portion.
- The Advanced Rules site is now up-to-date with what was in the WIP PDF, so if you want a non-watermarked version, this will also work for you.

86% of backers have completed their surveys! Please check your email and complete your survey if you have not already. You can wait to complete this closer to our exact fulfillment date in November if you are waiting to pay for shipping. We will send out announcements as we get closer to locking down addresses and pushing out orders. If you are having any issues with your survey or have not received one, please email [email protected]. They can assist with most small issues, and they will pass things on to RV Games that require us to respond.
