By backing the Homestead Creature Handbook, you get a collection of unique fantastical beasts designed to work within a domesticated setting. These creatures work as an extension of the humanoids they reside with. They act as mounts, as workers in the field, and occasionally as trilling critters that bring a unique soundscape to the homesteads where they live.
The bestiary provides detailed information about each creature, including how it is used, its temperament and behavior, as well as game statistics so they can be easily integrated into your 5e or Pathfinder 2e game.
Each creature entry features detailed information, game statistics, and a custom illustration for the creature in question. The funds would allow us to dedicate the necessary time to make this project shine and deliver a wholesome final product.
The core of the project, the 30 creature entries being published should the campaign fully fund, will be handled internally. Should we go beyond our funding goal, any hired writers, editors, and artists will be paid above standard industry rates for their work on this project.
This is a passion project, and hitting the funding goal would allow us to dedicate time to make it a reality. If we go beyond the funding goal, it would mean we'd be able to not only hire incredibly talented people from the community but we'd also be able to pay them what they're worth.
