You will receive a download link for any PDFs you’re getting. Make sure to check your spam folder because sometimes emails like those get dumped there.
Books
If you backed for a book, the order has been placed and will print and ship to you soon. Please be aware that printing and shipping times are still a bit on the slow side, plus we’re getting close to convention season, so the printer is overloaded. It might take a couple weeks for you to get your books.

Project Update: Final Survey Update

We still have a few people who haven’t filled out their backer survey and are getting physical books. I need those filled out so I have a shipping address and coverage of shipping charges.
Surveys are due Sunday, April 30. That’s just TWO days from now.

Project Update: Backer Surveys Sent
Greetings, survivors…
Backerkit surveys go out today.
Please fill yours out as soon as you can. It consists of one question, additional add-ons (if you want them), and collecting shipping fees and address info from those getting physical books.
The deadline for surveys is Sunday, May 30. That’s just ten days from now. If you’re getting a physical book and don’t fill out your survey, I won’t be able to send your book(s) out to you.
Make sure to check your spam folder if you don't see your survey in the next hour or so.

Project Update: Smoke Test
Greetings, survivors…
The book is proofed and ready to go. However, we still need to deal with shipping charges for those getting a physical book.
Backerkit requires I do a “smoke test” where 5% of the backers from each tier receive a backer survey, so we can hammer out any bugs.
You may be one of the 5%. If you receive a backer survey, fill it out (and provide address info and pay for shipping if you’re getting a physical book).
Once everything looks good with the 5%, I’ll send the survey to everyone.

Project Update: That's a Wrap!
Greetings, survivors…
We did it! We brought Die Laughing 2 to life, so that it can help kill soooooo many characters. Thank you so much for being part of this campaign.
Plus, we hit that final stretch goal, so more pages for everyone!
In a couple weeks, you’ll receive a survey from Backerkit Pledge Manager. There, you’ll confirm your add-ons (if you had any…or add some then) and provide your shipping information (if you backed for a book). You’ll have only a short time (maybe two weeks) to finalize everything through the pledge manager and then we’ll fulfill Die Laughing 2 and send out all add-ons, as well.
But for now, lay back and dream of octo-sharks and big damn heroes locked in bloody battle in a horror movie you’ve yet to make using Die Laughing 2.

Project Update: Final Week

We’re in the final days of the campaign and are about 16 or so backers from hitting the final stretch goal.

Please note that the backer survey will go out about two weeks after the campaign ends, so that we can deal with shipping charges immediately. Project Update: One Week To Go
Greetings, victims…
As we hit the one week to go mark, here’s a little tidbit of art from inside the supplement. This is the Seeker, which is a play on the evils/monsters that appear in some horror movies like Final Destination and It Follows…where the evil/monster seeks to kill the characters according to some strange rules of its own.
Again, thanks so much for backing this campaign and please do share it around with your RPG playing friends. We still have that stretch goal to hit to fatten the book up a bit.

Project Update: More Pages?

New stretch goal, folks! If we hit $3000, I’ll add six more pages of film styles and alternate roles for you to fill when your character dies. (Normally, you become a producer, but the core game has rules for being an agent and writer as well.)
So share the campaign around and let’s fatten the book up a bit.

Project Update: Stretch Goal #1 Unlocked
Greetings, victims…
We’ve passed $2000, so that means I’ll include form fillable PDFs of all of the character archetypes with the rewards for this campaign.
I’m still noodling on other stretch goal ideas that won’t mess with a quick turnaround, so give me some time there.
On the other hand, I do something else cool that’s happening.
Die Laughing will be featured on the Lost Caravan Twitch channel with a one-shot actual play of the game featuring me, five wary victims, and a few things from the new supplement. Stop by and check out the game in action TONIGHT, Wednesday, March 15, at 7:30pm Eastern. The game should run around two hours.

Project Update: Funded!
Greetings, victims…
We are funded…in just over a day! So, that’s pretty cool. Thank you everyone for backing this little expansion of my homage to horror movies. I’m sure you will dig the final product, which is in proofing right now.
What’s next? Well, Given that the book is done, I don’t have a lot planned for stretch goals. But there are a few things we can do.
So, if we hit $2000, I’ll create form fillable versions of all 32 character archetypes in the core book and supplement. They can be pretty handy, particularly for folks playing online.
Onward and upward. Please do share the campaign around with your friends. We’re trying out Backerkit Crowdfunding for this one and can use all the word of mouth we can get. Thanks.
