Rusty Revolvers is a punk russian roulette card game where multiple people fire an ancient, crumbling revolver whilst infecting themselves and their opponents with flesh defying afflictions just to stay ahead. Infect your opponents and shoot them dead!
That sounds like a question from someone about to shot full of holes. But I guess I could answer ya.
Rusty Revolvers is a game of wretched chance. A card game where players take aim with their revolver, but not before injecting their opponent with something rotten and bubbling.
Inspired by games such as Buckshot Roulette and the real-life pastime of Russian Roulette, Rusty Revolvers is a game of betting on the next round in the chamber of your gun being a live one if you aim at your opponent, or a blank if you aim at yourself. However, the Bubonic Cards can give you the edge on that.
Each Bubonic Card is a syringe of pure power, some strange affliction that you stab into your opponent's skin and push that rusty plunger. You might even want to infect yourself with something, if it might give you the edge...
On your turn you aim that wretched Aim Card [RR00] at an opponent and flip over the top card of the Chamber Deck. Firing your gun with a BANG! Let's hope it's not a blank, but if you think it might be, you could always aim that gun at your own rotten head. But be careful, if you blow your dome sky-high you might lose a Tooth...
If you do manage to put a hole in your opponent, you get a precious Tooth to add to your collection. Collect 3 of these buggers and you've won the round. But all those horrid infections you have, those are here to stay.
On your turn you aim the Aim Card [RR00] at anyone, even yourself! Then flip that top card of the Chamber. Some of the Chamber might be live rounds, ready to tear through and opponent. Some might be blank rounds, puffing nothing but smoke, hopefully at your own head to live another round.
Each Chamber card has a red or blue holographic ring at its edge, giving the round Chamber cards a POW as you flip them. If you want you could even throw them at the head of the person your sights are aimed on!
Ever been playing a casual game of Russian Roulette with friends and thought (I wish I could inject Kyle with a deadly virus right now to stop him aiming that gun)? Well thankfully, Rusty Revolvers comes complete with an arsenal of 50+ Viruses and Plagues. Ready to course through the veins of your enemies!
Before you decide who to aim at, take one of the syringes from your hand of Bubonic Cards and stab it into someone's leg. Could even be your own if that's your thing. And with how quick games of Rusty Revolvers last, you'll never see the same combo more than once!
Once a round ends, there's no curing your afflictions. Every player drags their broken and bubbling body into the next round, warts and all!
Some of these afflictions might even have real world repurcusions...
Why Teeth of course! Precious, precious pearls! Every successful bullet that you fire, tearing its way through the skull of an opponent nets one of their teeth, straight into your pocket. Physical Teeth will come with every copy of Rusty Revolvers to show off how good you are at the game. (Or you can physically pull your own out if you wish.)
But be warned, each shot you fire into your own skull removes a tooth of your own, back into the pile!

A mini revolver, covered in bubonic pustules and pulsing veins to point at your opponents as you decide where to take a pot-shot. This miniature will be printed in green and will come with each physical version of Rusty Revolvers if we reach £4000. STRETCH GOAL SMASHED!
THEN, if we reach a further £5000, Rusty Revolvers is going Japanese. I've had repeated interest from Japanese fans for a translation, at £5000 the entire game will be translated with several extra Japanese Only Cards to inflict people with.
