Escape The Lighthouse Keeper

You have heard many rumours over the years about the abandoned lighthouse at your local beach. Built in 1776, the lighthouse remained active for over 100 years, keeping watch over the fierce Irish Sea until its closure in 1883. Although it has been empty for over 140 years, you often look out of your bedroom window to the distance beach and see an eerie glow emanating from the lighthouse. You decide to grab your friends and set off on an adventure to investigate.

On reaching the lighthouse, you find the door wide open. You cautiously step inside and feel like you've stepped back in time. The interior has seen better days, the paint is peeling and the furniture is falling apart. You approach an old desk littered with maritime artifacts - old maps, compasses, newspaper articles as well as weather reports, tide times and photographs of ships long gone. While you are examining the items on the desk you hear door slam shut with a resounding thud, and the sound of a lock engaging. 

You are trapped!
 
Luckily, you notice some hidden clues and puzzles among the maritime artifacts. You must use all your problem solving skills to solve these puzzles and escape the lighthouse before the lighthouse keeper returns.
