Hello! Thank you for your interest in my very first enamel pin project. I've admired the Art Deco and Art Nouveau movements for a long time now, and often lose myself in the muted yet rich colors of those periods. I set out to create a little collection of pins that combine my love for organic forms, flowy lines, and sea creatures, with a dreamy deco twist.
Pledge NOW, pay LATER. BackerKit is an all-or-nothing crowdfunding model. If we have reached our goal at the end of the campaign, your card will be charged. If we do not reach our goal, you will not be charged a single penny. Please check the FAQ tab near the top for more information.
There are four [4] goal levels for this project. As each goal level is reached, the corresponding pin design will UNLOCK and become available to all Backers. The end goal is to UNLOCK ALL four [4] pin designs, making the full collection available to all Backers. Scroll down to see the details of each level.
All pins have two [2] pin backing locations for added stability. Every pin has a shiny gold metal base and outlines. Each design has a special feature - either pearlescent, glitter, or a glow-in-the dark effect. AND... some designs have fun dangling charms =)
FEB 13, 2025: DECO DREAMS campaign ends and Backers are charged.
FEB 27, 2025: Funds are received and Backer surveys are emailed.
MAR 13, 2025: Backer surveys are received, shipping costs are charged, and production kicks off.
MAY 1, 2025: Pins are received, checked for quality, packaged, and mailed to their new homes.

Please respond to the Backer surveys before the deadline to guarantee your design selections. In this survey, you will also provide your shipping address and pay for shipping [see "Shipping" section below]. Any last-minute items you'd like to add to your order can be chosen at this time [additional pins, postcards, prints, and stickers].
As Creators, we can only communicate with Backers via project updates and reminder emails [correspondence is sent to the email you've used to pledge]. Please be sure to check your email for project updates and Backer survey emails. If you fail to stay updated and do not complete your Backer survey, you could forfeit your rewards.
If your survey is not completed and your shipping costs aren't paid by the completion date, you will forfeit your pledge and rewards. Forfeited rewards cannot be fulfilled.
Hello! I'm May, the artist behind DECO DREAMS. I discovered art when I was just a kid - before I knew what art was, and eventually ended up studying Illustration and Animation at uni. After several years of being on-again/off-again, I've taken a serious dive back into my art, encouraged by the isolation of a pandemic. For a long stretch, I worked full-time as a PM in the consumer goods industry while making art at odd hours of the day. Then in December of 2023, I lost my full-time gig. It happened during an extremely rocky time in my life and I took it as a sign to focus solely on art.
I've always found it hard to articulate what my 'style' is; I'm not married to a specific medium or subject matter. Yet when I take a step back I see a common thread. I paint and sculpt my emotions - feelings of fear, wonder, and longing.
