Hey there folks, I'm obviously not Sunny but I've seen several people confused/upset about surveys closing before our final payments get processed. I'm using the Pay Over Time feature as well, so I understand why you may feel confused or anxious about how it works! Key sentence: "Once the 4 month is up or full pledge payment is paid, whichever comes first, backers will be **automatically** invited to the survey". ("Automatically" was originally italicized but we don't have formatting options so I did the best I could.) What this means on a practical level: 1.) Our (backers using Pay Over Time) access to the survey is literally built in to how Backerkit works. As soon as we have paid up the balance of what we owe, the system WILL send us a survey link. Think about it like a reserved seat at a concert. The concert venue (stadium, theater etc) may say "we are sold out now, please leave" to people still standing in line to get tickets. But WE don't have to go away/stop standing in line. Our tickets are included the final numbers. We just have to keep waiting in line until we finish paying for the tickets/pay off our balance. Once we do that, we can get into the venue/receive the link and attend the concert/access the survey. 2.) You also can opt to fully pay off the rest of your balance at once, and receive access to the survey immediately! Just go to "Manage My Pledge", scroll down to "Payments Still Owed", and click the "Charge Remaining Balance" button. -------- So, I hope this helps clear things up! Backerkit and project creators have a detailed system to easily work with backers using Pay Over Time. It would make ZERO sense for either creators or Backerkit to offer this option but then not allow us to access the survey and get our pledge rewards. We just need to have patience, which we agreed to do when we chose this payment option :) I personally plan on getting Hobart Thylacine, and his pin plus London Fog Rave's pin, plus Tangerine Tiger & Cocoa Jackalope as BeanBuds! I also think I'll add on Forest Dragon when I gain access to the survey, he stole my heart before I knew Hobart existed and I don't want to leave him behind 🩵
