We’re thrilled to share a little behind-the-scenes update with you. We just received one of our new illustrations, and we are so excited about how this parade of elephants turned out! Seriously, how stunning is this fantastic artwork by the talented Melanie Darling Art? We’ve been working hard to pull everything together, fine-tuning the words as the illustrations come in. We’re down to just four more pages to complete before everything is ready to send to print—so exciting! Thank you so much for helping us push this book past the finish line. We can’t wait to share it with you! (Our estimated timeline is to have the books in hand and ready to ship by the first quarter of 2025.)
Surveys will be going out soon—just as soon as we finalize all the back-end setup. Stay tuned!

We just wanted to take a moment to say a big thank you for all your support! We started hiring illustrators out of pocket as the idea for this book came about and once we had enough to keep the project moving forward, we launched on Backerkit!
Now, thanks to you, we’re so excited to finish hiring our talented team and bring this beautiful book to life! We can’t wait to share the illustrations with you as we receive them in real time!
Here’s what’s currently in the works: * Parade of Elephants * Party of Peacocks * Snuggle of Sloths (oh my cuteness!!) * Kaleidoscope of Butterflies * School of Fish * Mischief or Storytelling of Ravens (we're still deciding since “storytelling” is a bit hard to verify as a group name, but "mischief" could add a fun twist to the story!) * Maybe a Flamboyance of Flamingos (with disco balls, of course!)
We hope to have all the illustrations done by the end of this month and, fingers crossed, everything ready to send to print by the end of November. We’ll keep you posted on shipping timelines!
Also, keep an eye out for a survey in the next few weeks. Let us know the name you'd like next to the firefly on the end sheets of the book, or feel free to message us. Hopefully, we can include this in the survey when it’s ready.

Sometimes you have to invest in yourself, and we think this book is way too beautiful not to bring to life its full potential!
