The first goal of this Backerkit is to add more color varieties to my popular grilled 2-Bone Meat Bag and Haunch Meat Bag! These are currently being prototyped, though the last change is just the zipper on the zebra versions being changed to white! Here are photos of the complete and available grilled bag to show structure!

2-Bone bags are a whopping 16 inches deep with the entire inside as usable space! It can be folded flat or filled to the brim, and it fits things like laptops, tablets, books, and phones. The strap is adjustable!
Haunch bags are slightly smaller with a conservative measurement of 12 inches depth. There are no separate compartments, just lots of open space inside! Other than the size and appearance differences it has all the same great features as the 2-Bone bags.

Bear Chow: A limp chunk of spawning color sockeye salmon. The interior would be a matching bright salmon flesh color!
Mako Chow: A thawing slab of yellowfin tuna. The interior would be a matching bright red color!
Alley Chow: A trash animal buffet! This would have a banana peel arm cushion. It may or may not be shiny metallic fabric depending on availability. The interior has a cartoon puddle of ooze printed at the bottom.
Royal Chow: A suckling boar fit for the table of a king. The interior would be a fleshy pink to match the nose!

These are smaller bags for items like keys and room cards. Instead of a strap they have fabric loops on one side that can attach to things like lanyards or belts. Still stylish, but lower priced than their meatier cousins! The detailing will not be double sided since only one side is meant to be displayed. By popular demand the T-Bone Steak bag has been unlocked early, but the other 2 are a shared stretch goal!
WE'RE PARTICIPATING IN PINTOPIA, a creative celebration featuring over 175 creators launching pin and plushie projects on BackerKit from January 23 to February 13! Lairbrew is partnered with grind3h, who's making amazingly adorable dragon pins and plushies! If you back both our campaigns you'll receive a free pin with your rewards from both of us: a hungry kobold and meat loving dragon to decorate your new bag with! There's lots of incredible projects in Pintopia this year, and I hope you'll consider supporting ours.
We are on the way to unlocking our first community choice premium cut bag!
Why Backerkit? The vast majority of my plush projects are actually funded out-of-pocket, but crowdfunding for projects with variety is vital however! There are 3 big costs to shoulder when making many designs: prototyping, safety testing, and shipping. Pre-orders are key to supporting this, and doing them via Backerkit means:
You are not charged until the campaign ends!
You are only charged if it is successfully funded!
Sticker Packs - A set of 3 glossy meat stickers! These 3 inch stickers will be waterproof, UV resistant, and able to withstand the weather for several years. You can also add single designs as add-ons if you don't want the whole pack!
Plush Keychains - Based on the grilled meat variety, these little keychains are about 3 inches long. These have been fully prototyped, and while these plush are exceptionally simple they're super cute! They are equipped with a double keychain head that allows you to pick how you'd like to attach it to your bag of choice.

Many ingredients, but one flavor dominates the brew!
Plush manufacturing is super expensive! For this project, the majority of the funds (well over 50%) would go to the manufacturing cost. Plush prototyping, safety testing, and shipping nearly double it! Then after Backerkit fees and transaction fees we have the smallest expenses: fulfillment materials (like packaging) and non-plush rewards (like stickers.)
About the Shop

Lairbrew is a queer owned, disabled operated plush shop. I specialize in collector quality plush toys made with older audiences in mind. That dragon-like urge to snatch a new shiny to bring to your lair when you find a perfect piece that speaks deeply to your love of a favorite animal, monster, beloved character, or aesthetic is great. I want to bring that kind of giddiness to others with plush that bring smiles every time you see them!
