Science fiction comes in many flavors, from hard sci-fi, like The Martian, where a misaligned strut leads to catastrophic failure, all the way to soft sci-fi, like Star Trek, where a few tachyons shot from a deflector dish will solve 9/10 problems. Granica is on the harder side, approximately on a level with The Expanse, for at least the first half of season 1.
