Surveys are about to start rolling out, please keep an eye on your inboxes.

All international shipping is at the cheapest option available, and by default there is no tracking or signature required. If you have a large order or you would like extra security, please grab the tracking upgrade in the add-on part of the survey. Please note that the budget services can take a while to deliver.

If you would like to combine your shipping with your pledge from our previous campaign (the Curiosity Shop Collection on Kickstarter), please select local pickup from the country list on the first page, and at the shipping stage. This is the only way for me to give you free shipping. Your shipping was included in your Kickstarter pledge. 

If you do not do this/forget to do this and realise you've been charged please message me. I can do you a manual refund of your shipping fees :). 

After some extensive research, happy to say we're set up for EU shipping :D. We found and paid a rep and we did have to order all new packaging, and fill out a bunch of safety paperwork. 

With that out of the way its time for surveys to go out. Expect that to happen within the next day or so, and then run until the packaging arrives. Then you'll get 48hrs notice before addresses lock in and shipping will begin. 

Until then, here's some previews of the the finished pins. They always look better in real life, its so hard to get good photos! These are not the correct backing cards, just temporary stand ins from the pride oriental kitty pin campaign.

So, first things first; the pins have all arrived, and they look amazing. 

We had a serious issue with the stickers and had to reorder them twice. But now they are also all here, and look great. 

So that's the easy part out of the way. 

On to the new EU regulations. 

Well, first off it turns out everything now has to be labelled according to strict guidelines. So all of our backing cards will need to be reprinted in smaller numbers, specifically for the EU backers. This is going to delay things for a few more weeks yet, unfortunately. 

We have found a rep in the EU, which is one of the biggest hurdles. Now we have to figure out the paperwork. We need to check in with the manufacturer about their safety paperwork and also do risk assessments for all of the products. 

So where does that leave us? Well, its looking hopeful that we will be following through on shipping to our EU backers. As soon as I can confirm one way or another, I will send out the surveys. Then it'll just be a wait for the new backing cards to come through, but in the meantime we'll be sending packages out to our non EU backers.

So, just a quick explaination why surveys haven't gone out yet. I'm sorry for the delays.

Not long after the last update, I began to hear that there were big changes coming up for EU shipping. I didn't want to jump the gun on an announcement until I fully understood the implications, but right now its looking like a complicated situation. From the 13th December, there are drastic changes to shipping into the EU. A lot of small business are pulling shipping into the EU entirely, because its very unclear what exactly is required, and it may be very expensive to set up. 

I don't want to make any final decisions until we've seen how things work though. It could be the case that it seems more complicated than it is in practice, and usually the first few weeks when things change over are when its most confusing, and most mistakes are made.

However. I can't put the surveys out until I know exactly what we're doing. So on that note, we're going to be delaying shipping and surveys until at least February. Its still within our projected timeline, but that's not a firm guarantee. I will keep you updated.
