For this Pintopia, I'm creating a set of ornamental, art pins of my Sorceress paintings - my most personal painting series. Each pin features a sorceress & her familiar -- each a manifestation of aspects of our subconscious that explore the emotional and psychological themes that make up our inner landscapes - trying to give form to the multitudes of shadows & moonlight we are made of.

These delicate forms are ephemeral and haunting, like the dreams, we are made up of. They elevate or drown. They consume or caress. They teach. They warn. They dance, whisper, and sing.

 
Each pin is an extra-large meditation - made of delicate metal & enamel that embodies the spirit of a sorceress and her familiar. This collection of hard enamel pins will range from 4-5 inches depending on the design. 

These pins are meant to be displayed as an art piece! Each pin will come with a beautiful 5x7 soft touch, gold foil backing card - specifically designed to compliment the pin and be ready to display together in a 5x7 frame as soon as they arrive! These gold-foil backing cards are the same type of print as my $25 gold foil prints and I get so many compliments on how high quality they are. {The backing card will not be the painting itself, but a similar background or color range without the figures - that way it compliments the pin for display}
 
These enamel pins make beautiful, unique pieces of art that can be displayed anywhere a small shiny accent would look great - whether on a shelf, a small wall, or as an accent to other larger pieces of art on a gallery wall.
 

✨ Shimmer ✨ This sorceress drifts through the storms, lightning singing into the clouds, she twists as gentle as a jellyfish, as sharp as electricity. The delicate jellyfish is ephemeral and beautiful - a weightless haunt that calls us to swim into the currents, never mind the tender stings. What soft storms will you dance into? The electricity sings in the dark, but above the clouds part and the moon shines. In this fragile dance between each tendril of risk, we rise into the swirling storms, with caution thrown to the wind. Shimmer reminds us not to neglect our shadows, and that some risks, some demons, are worth dancing with. 

✨ Kindling ✨ This sorceress ignites the veil between light and dark, before and after, she summons forth the new day from within her chest. Shrouded in dark shadows, the bats sing into the night - songs barely to be heard by creatures of the day - but sing they do. They sing until they herald the dawn of a new day. What tender kindling waits within you in the dark, waiting to be sparked to life? What song is ringing at the edge of hearing that would give your life meaning, when brought into the light? 

✨ Illumination ✨ {also called 'Homing Beacon'} - as this sorceress reminds us that home is not a place, but a light we carry within us that calls our pack home to us. With this light, we find our family, and wherever we go, we are home. Like the loyal and social fox, her pack is numbered and tight-knit. Together they face the storms and share in joy, carrying the warmth of the den in their companionship. All members of her pack care for the young and injured, and she reminds us to pull close to us those we love and those who need us. She gleams a signal to us through the mist and rain, to share our warmth and light, and to gather to you your tribe. 

✨ Embers ✨ This sorceress looks calm and still, but around her the smoke curls and heat shimmers like a mirage. What sparks are you concealing within? What passions are swimming deep within your glowing veins, as yet unseen? Like a delicate gossamer wyrm that glows in the deep dark currents with its own light - what life dances within you? What molten dream gleams beneath the veil of smoke and mist, beneath your still exterior?

✨ Zenith ✨ Zenith reaches ever upward into the vast infinite reaches, she dances with the swirling electrons, letting them burn away her imperfections and reveal the diamond bones of her. This sorceress sheds the trapping of her small mortal frame and spreads her wings like a vast manta ray into the realm of ideal forms: the abstract, perfect, and timeless essences of all things. She swims through the currents of her dreams and ideals, and like a ray, she leaps from the ocean of this life into a medium of another world. This sorceress and her rays remind us to reach for our highest dreams, our highest self. They sing to us from the northernmost lights to join them at the zenith of our world and dance in the potential of how high we can reach. What ideal form of yourself is waiting to soar into the cosmic infinite? What dreams are waiting to break free above the waves into the realm above?

✨ Quiescence ✨ This sorceress is found with shadowy soft bunnies. She is a totem of potential, waiting quiet in the dark, like a rabbit - a totem of the potential for all things to grow and thrive and the beauty of that which may yet become. She whispers to us to join her in the velvety darkness, to lie down with the stillness and listen for what stirs within us. What moment of peace, what stillness can you gift to the delicate seeds within you that wait to hear the song of the moonlight to sprout? Quiescence whispers for us to nurture our calmness, our rest, like a delicate rabbit that will bolt away if we move too fast. Take care, take time. Take a breath and let the velvet night move around you while you lay quiet.

✨ Abyss ✨ A sorceress illuminated in the flashes of the lightning bugs around her - she is a totem to the duality of our nature, both light and dark. Are we peering into the abyss or are we the abyss? Are we the lightning bugs, the stars, illuminating the night or are we she shadows, peering up at the light? Like the cycles of day and night, our curious souls move between the veils of light and dark, ever looking, ever learning. Like the fireflies, we flit along the edges of dark and light, the twilight edge. What aspects of your soul peer curious into the abyss? And what aspects of your soul peer out of the abyss into the stars?

✨ Exhale ✨ This sorceress is a meditation on our ability to summon into reality creations that manifest the truths we know in our bones. Her misty eels were once only abstract ideals and ideas, and with the breath of her own lifeforce, she manifests them into existence. This sorceress lives at the edge, between the real & unreal, and weaves truth into the fabric of reality around her. Though others may fear the realms of abstraction and may be blind to what they can't touch and feel, she fears not. Her familiars are grand and ephemeral guardians of our existential responsibility to create reality as we know it should be. What truths do you summon into the world from deep within your moral bones? What ideas do you guard fiercely?

🌙 Please note - all designs shown are works-in-progress and mockups - so they are still being worked on and made prettier. Many still will have more detail and colors added as they are finished, polished, and prepared to be transformed into metal and enamel works of art. 🌙

Because we unlocked so many more designs than expected - I'm still catching up with all the new designs. After some great feedback in the comments, I've decided to share works-in-progress images of each of these designs here as I work on them so you can have a better visual of how each one will look, even if they are not quite finished yet :)

Please keep in mind, these are only about 60% done - so not nearly as pretty as they will be. A lot of the magic comes when the lines are finessed just right, and all the beautiful swirly details are perfected. But these should help give some visual clarity of the direction each is headed. And I hope it's fun to see a little behind the curtain of how these designs evolve.

This campaign is designed to be much simpler than my previous ones! I am still working on fulfilling my 2024 Pintopia campaign and wanted to take a moment to address that here. 

I am being much more careful with this campaign to avoid any of the delays and manufacturing complications that I am working through with my Flora & Feather campaign. 

More specifically: 

Because of my more streamlined approach this time, this campaign should go much more smoothly and quickly than the last one for fulfillment. And it is my hope to be able to fulfill this campaign by late spring.

I'm also still hard at work on getting the last set finished - and determined to ensure that the Flora & Feather pins and bookcharms are as beautiful as possible even if it takes longer. But I wanted to help clarify why the obstacles of the last campaign should not affect this new campaign at all. If you'd like to read more about the progress of my last campaign, check out the Flora & Feather FAQ that I have written to give more behind-the-scenes details.

Though my last campaign has delays that I am working through, I have a great track record with crowdfunding! I've successfully crowdfunded 8 campaigns now, and I have a long track record of successfully fulfilling my campaigns and getting very positive reviews from my backers on how high-quality everything turns out!

My hope is to have these pins finished and shipped in just a few months time, without all the delays I am working through with my last campaign - and as I described above, I have intentionally designed this one to be much simpler to manufacture and fulfill quickly :)

As usual, for this campaign, shipping will be charged after the campaign, through the pledge manager closer to the ship date. (You will also be able to choose your designs at that time.)

For backers outside the United States, you are responsible for import duties, taxes, and VAT fees. No refunds or replacements will be offered if your package is lost or returned as a result of not paying these fees.
