If you didn't get the chance to read the last update, this is Cat running the social media side of this campaign! At the end of the year Jess became ill after a few medical issues that came up. Luckily everything is going great now with that and we've been working hard together to finalize all the shipments to wrap up the campaign. We anticipated finishing everything by the holidays, but with the bad winter storms and us living about an hour away from each other, it delayed us getting together to finish everything all at once. Jess sends her apologies and hopes you all can understand the delay.
The great news is all orders are 100% packaged up and the last part we are working on is grabbing all the shipping labels to mail these out to you all ASAP 🙏🏼 You'll get an email soon within the next week with your unique tracking number. While myself, Jess, and the rest of our team have been working to pack up all the orders together, Jess has also been designing a new pin series for this year's Pintopia event called "Rebirth & Ruin"- a nature enamel pin series celebrating the delicate balance between life & death.

Sampling will begin this week for the new Rebirth & Ruin pins, so we'll share the pin production process photos when the manufacturer sends them. Since sampling will begin as Pintopia starts, this means we aim to be a little bit ahead of schedule for this campaign :)

Its been over a month now since any updates. The last one said everything will be shipped before the holiday rush.... I've received no items or any shipping info. Please keep us updated more frequently. I understand the delay with health issues, but there's no excuse to have our hard earned money for this long to just ghost all the backers. This is Cat, writing on behalf of Jess at JBlakeDesign. I wanted to start by thanking you all for your incredible patience and support as we navigate some unexpected challenges. Jess has had a very difficult few months, as she needed emergency gallbladder surgery and experienced some complications afterward. This took a serious toll on both her physical and mental health, and she has been focusing on recovery ever since.
Jess deeply apologizes for the delays this has caused, and she is immensely grateful for your understanding & support during this time. While she continues her recovery, I’ve stepped in to help with social media updates and campaign fulfillment. Myself and others are working as a small but dedicated team to finalize everything.
I’m excited to share that packaging is well underway! The team and I are committed to getting every order out as soon as possible, with the goal of completing fulfillment before the holiday rush comes around. Jess recently taught me how to handle the social media and communication side of the campaign, so we’ll be keeping you better updated moving forward.

We've been working hard grading all the pins, adding pins to their backing cards, and prepping all other accessories to be ready for shipment. If you didn't receive an email about it, shipping addresses have been locked with a final notice so please update your shipping address if needed before the end of the weekend. Packages will be mailed out ASAP and you'll receive a tracking number via email.

My sincerest apologies for for the delay! There were a few unforeseen delays that slowed down production. First, matching the enamel pin colors to the exact Pantone colors was more complex than anticipated. If you didn't know this about enamel pin production, each color is hand-mixed to match the chosen Pantone color. When my manufacturer sent me production pictures, some of the colors looked different in the pictures than what I chose. After some back and forth emailing, it turns out the camera used to take the picture was just a little off in the color balance. My manufacturer assured me the colors were correct in person and offered to mail the samples so I could double check them in person. Once the samples arrived I was so happy the colors looked absolutely perfect!
Second, there were some delays because not only was I ordering my enamel pin designs, but I also ordered my campaign partner Allison's pins together in one huge double order. Had it just been my pins, production would have been finished a bit sooner. Allison and I wanted to assure that the quality was going to be the same with both of our pins being released together as a set, so we did not want to rush my manufacturer at all and it affect the quality. The most important thing we asked from our manufacturer was to prioritze quality over speed, and so far after checking these pins out we could not be happier with the final product!! 😻 Take a look at Allison's amazing pins!!
Third, sticker production has taken a bit longer than expected due to our sticker manufacturer being out of office at the end of last month/beginning of this month for his convention season. We didn't receive a response about the sticker order until they returned last week. A while ago, I already ordered a handful of stickers to be ready to package with the first batch of enamel pins. The only hiccup I ran into with the sticker order is that the holo effect on the freebie snake stickers wasn't quite right. My file wasn't formatted properly to make the outside edges of the snake holographic, so the last thing we are now waiting on is the remake of some of the freebie holo stickers!

We've been receiving small shipments of the enamel pins throughout the month as they've been completed, and the final box just arrived today! We can now officially announce that grading and packaging will begin as soon as we receive the replacement holo snake stickers 🐍💖✨ During this wait, we've been diligently working on ordering the other merchandise including sticker books, keychains, Medusa wooden pin boards, additional stickers, etc.
The last announcement I have is about the Harpy pin! During the Pantone color picking process, it was very hard to match the intense blue colors I originally chose for the Harpy design. After some re-working, I decided to add purple/gradient to create a more cohesive look within the Femme Fatale collection and ensure all colors of the rainbow are represented with these pins! 🏳️🌈 (Thank you to the person who suggested adding purple in the collection <3)
