Each edition comes with a different miniature porcelain tea set!
Where am I? Alice in a Mad Tea Party is a social deduction game where a player attempts to maximize their own victory points while minimizing their opponents' by having one's own character sit at the chair with the best dish combination and also by guessing the other players' characters.
On a player's turn, the player can do 1 of 3 actions:
Place a Character on a Chair
Give a Secret Letter to Another Player
Place a Dish on the Table
You can gain points (which are printed on lovely stamps) depending on the dishes on the table in front of your character. Each dish has its own assigned amount of points or even a special mechanic. You can also gain points if the Secret Letter's character matches the player that you gave that Secret Letter to.
Once all characters are sitting on the chairs, the round ends and points are calculated. The number of rounds depends on the number of players.
The rules are relatively simple but strategy and even bluffing can all be part of the game!
