PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Upcoming Iron Circus Comics crowdfunding projects!
Hey, folks! We hope 2025 is treating you well, all things considered! For our part, Iron Circus is planning to have a big year. In fact, not only do we have five crowdfunding projects on our calendar for the coming months, but we've actually got the preview pages live on Kickstarter now, all at once! (Apparently nobody's ever done this before? That's what they're telling us, anyway.)
So, here's what's coming.
This spring, we'll launch a crowdfund for the second volume of S.E. Case's acclaimed webcomic Rigsby WI about the lives of a group of average teenagers in a small city in Northern Wisconsin. This book, Burn It Down, turns the story's focus over to Anna, a friend of the first volume's main character. And Anna is having some rough times.
Also, we'll be launching The Unsinkable Ship of Fools by Jonas Goonface, featuring 250 pages of full-color supernatural erotica with explicit sex, feral fantasies, and truly unique characters featuring a plethora of body types, genders, sexualities, and ethnicities. This hobopunk epic offers fantastic mystery, anarchist philosophy, and a whole lot of high quality smut!
Then, coming in April, we've got a mystery project! We can't tell you what this one is, yet. You'll just have to sign up to get notified if you wanna find out!
Then, in June, we've got another book two: Harder than It Looks! This is the second volume of Kendra Wells' uproarious queer fantasy adventure Real Hero Shit, the story of a mismatched group of adventurers: a demonic playboy prince, a stoic elf, a short-fused mage, and a compassionate cleric who are sworn to protect the innocent, fight injustice, and show off how cool they look.
Finally, launching in August, we've got another mystery project! Sorry, can't talk about this one yet. But you can click that "Notify me on launch" button now, and make sure you don't miss the big reveal!
Anyway, like we said: a big year! We're really looking forward to these books (and some other things!) and we hope you're with us.
Remember, crowdfunds like this are the most direct way to support artists and publishers who make the stuff you love. Don’t just wait for it to show up on Amazon!

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Physical Copy Review! ⛄
Happy December everyone! Sylphy here! We've got a very exciting update for our fellow passengers! Physical books are here for review and I've got a few pages for you to see how well the color printing came out!
Right now our team has the ever dutiful Hye reviewing the other physicals to make sure that everything has printed correctly and is in order in the book. They were nice enough to forward me a copy as well so I could provide a few images for you all. 👀
This sounds like it would be quick, but it is more like meticulously looking over each page several times to also test the read-wear of the binding of the printing. It takes longer than you'd expect it to!
Once there is an estimate of when books can be expected to be shipped to our warehouse, another update will be coming, along with a timeline of when we think we'll be able to get the books out to you all. Remember that you can stay up to date with the comic as well at https://rigsbywi.com/comic/! 🚌💨
We're almost at the end of the year, which means at least one day off is hopefully coming to you all! I hope that it at least snows a little more as the last couple of years here have been rather dry in the winter. Happy Holidays everybody! ⛄

Project Update: Proofs Pitstop!
It's finally starting to feel cold out and it only took 'til mid November, right? Hello fellow travelers, Sylphy here with another update on the status of Rigsby, WI books!
We've received the proof copies and are currently going over them with a fine-tooth comb to make sure everything is in order and legible. Here's a few images so you can see how that part of the process looks! 👀

Physical pages always makes the book look like it's not too far off and it's neat to see all the color swatches on the sides showing the color variety. You'd think there'd be more of them! You can also see in some of these pages that S E Case has updated the expressions on a lot of the faces as well, so once these copies get out to you it'll feel like a completely fresh reading experience!
Once we have a further update on when book printing is to begin, I'll be updating you all once more here. Keep in mind as well that you can follow S E Case through this website or social media to keep up with the story!
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Project Update: Moving on to the next Route! 🛣
Happy Friday to our travel crew! Hoping you're excited for the weekend! It's already October, but we're still moving right along with our production time!
We've cruised right through our final filework and already reached the point of requesting physical proofs! 🙌 These are not the final copies of Rigsby yet, but preview batches so that we can review the quality of the materials being used, make sure they didn't fray in production, and most importantly make sure that there aren't any printing errors. Hopefully I'll have a few photos of that soon when they arrive for review for you to take a look at, because I cannot wait to see the full bound copies myself!
Once we have the proofs I and have gone ahead with requesting a full print, a new update will go out here for you. Thanks for your patience and have a great weekend everyone!

Project Update: Bus Line to Production-Town!
We're on the road! Sylphy here with a short update: Production design has concluded for Rigsby, WI!
While it has been some time since the conclusion of the BackerKit, part of what SE Case wanted to do was to review the previous art and clean it up to their current standards. I'm sure any of us who are creative has felt the need when looking at what they call their 'old artwork'.
Currently SE is looking the digital proofs over to give Iron Circus Comics any final edits or corrections that may be needed before we send it to the printer to get physical proofs. We're thrilled to say everything is still on track for a March release! Not much else to say aside from Thank You for being here to help back Rigsby, WI!
Something else that you can do for this comic is to sign up to vote in the Ignatz Awards! You can sign up here and vote for Rigsby, WI for Outstanding Online Comic: https://www.smallpressexpo.com/ignatz-awards/ Please do so, it'll only take a second! 🙏
Take this time to scope out a few other books to read as well, there's a big list in the other categories!
