Mini-pin Goal Updates:

I have changed the mini pin goals for doodles and critter to 400 backers, a goal which we have hit, so they are now unlocked! We have also unlocked cookie, taffy, and raincloud, and are very close to unlocking dash!! :D

I am considering a 'sponsor a mini pin' pledge slot. It would be about $250 and would unlock any locked mini pin of your choice. If anyone is interested in that please let me know and I'll add the pledge level asap!! :D

Rainbow and Doodles Turnarounds:

As a reminder, even though we most likely will not unlock series 2 this time around, I still plan to do an additional rainbeanies campaign in a while to unlock more critters! :D So never fear if your fave didn't make it this time around.

WOOHOO!! Please meet our two secret guys, doodles and rainbow!! :D I am working on editing their turnaround photos, but I will have them added to the campaign soon!! :D Here is a group shot of everyone in series 1, and a few photos I took of doodles and rainbow!

As far as what's next: If we are able to reach 30K in funding, we will unlock the first four plushies of series 2 that will be backers choice!!! Here are some of the critters we would be able to choose from:

I also have concepts for two more raindragon characters, but thought if we choose to do so, it might be fun to create one as a group as well!

There are also other colorful critters I think would be very cute rainbeanies, such as our pajama buddy friends ollie, leo, and lumi, who have not made their plushie debut just yet but will this spring on my shop, or gleep and glorp the alien critters, or pupshroom the mushroom puppy!!

In order to reach the 30K goal we will need to be sure to share the campaign as much as possible! I definitely know it's within the realm of possibility if we try our hardest :3c If series 2 isn't unlocked this time around, there will be another rainbeanies campaign down the line for some series 2 critters, so even if we're not able to reach that funding this time around there is still a chance your fave could be made! For future campaigns I may also add rainbeanies goals within other campaigns as well, so I intend to make plenty more! :D

Hello and THANK YOU so much for a wonderful launch!! We have already unlocked twelve of the series 1 rainbeanies and have less than 1k to go before unlocking the final two secret guys of series 1!!

I'm so excited to share the secret guys with you and I think we can reach that goal soon!! :3c I'm also thrilled that Raincloud, Cookie, Taffy, Nebula, Ruby, Beau, Critter, Bug, Dash, Matcha, Beans, and Sprinkles will all be available for you to choose once surveys roll around, and that they'll all be able to be made!! :D THANK YOU THANK YOU so much for your support!!

Since we may meet some others soon, I wanted to share a little about raindragons, the species of dragon that Raincloud is!! Raindragons have a special job of hand-crafting raindrops! Because they have such a delicate job, they are all only 4 inches tall :3 They live in storm and rain clouds, and work hard preparing precipitation, but also take plenty of time off for breaks and play!

Each raindragon has the name prefix of rain! Other raindragons will sometimes call them by just the second part of their name, so Raincloud's raindragon friends call her 'Cloud' or 'Cloudy'! Raindragons sometimes have the same name, so they choose nicknames based on synonyms or related words for their second part of their name! There are many Rainbows, so some go by 'Ribbon', others 'Loopy', 'Arrow', 'Arch', so on and so forth! They have a lot of fun with synonyms and wordplay.

Here is a little graphic I made about some of their features!

They often have more simple markings but can have many different colors on them! The most common markings are differently colored peets, horns, eyebrows, ears and inner ears, muzzle, tummy scales, and wings!

I thought it could be fun to make a little coloring page you could use to design your own raindragon, or feel free to draw your own, I'd love to see and hear what you'd name them!! :D
