The gavels are mostly finished.
Tonight the bottom of the handles got a gold coat.
And I spent a few hours putting stamps onto foam backing.

Much more work on the finish. The original plan was to make the Gavels of DOOM mostly with a natural finish.
But this glossy dark brown is amazing!
Of course, it means 2 or 3 more coats of finish. But I think you’ll be happier with the final product.

Was not expecting that paint job. Fancy! Looks great, will have to try it out at tomorrow's game...assuming I can kill somebody's character. May call an audible and run a funnel.
If you have any extra clerks of courts to sell, let me know. After seeing how the gavel came out, I am definitely regretting not picking one of those up too.
